MONROE - Roger K. Mains, 80, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Monroe Hospital in Monroe, Wisconsin. He was born December 12, 1934 in rural Orangeville, Illinois, to Harry and Hazel (Kyler) Mains. Roger graduated from Orangeville High School in 1952. He served our country with the United States Marines during the Korean War. Roger then moved out west and worked on numerous ranches.
Roger is survived by his children: Kolleen Edler of Indianapolis, Indiana, Maureen of Ames, Iowa, and Kathleen of Nebraska; two sisters Wilma Kloepping and Merla Shelton both of Monroe; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughters Lora Kiesel and Kay Gipe, brothers Elwyn and Larry Mains and a brother and sister in infancy.
Private family services will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
