Richard L. Harder age 53 of Monroe, Wisconsin died Thursday, May 23, 2013 at his home. He was born August 24, 1959 in Monroe the son of Delbert and Kathleen (Jones) Harder and graduated from Monroe High School in 1978.

Richard married Debbie Lindenman on May 10, 1986. Richard worked at Swiggum's Liquor, Gempler's Tire, Stork Tire, Dorman's, Huber Brewery, DRS Farms, Menehan Refrigeration, and Owned & Operated Browntown Tire. He was a former member of Monroe Fire Department and House of Spirits Pool League.

Surviving are his mother, Kathleen Nyman of Monroe; father, Delbert (Alberta) Harder of Monroe; sons, Brandon Harder & Bradley Harder of Monroe; brother, James Harder, Sr. of Monroe; and sister, Tami Powell of Beloit. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Joseph & Pauline Jones, Sr. and Jacob & Sara Harder; and step-father, Paul Nyman.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Drive & N. 18th Avenue in Monroe with Pastor Pat Soddy officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe, WI.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Funeral Home.

A Memorial Fund is being established in Richard's memory.
