Richard H. "Rick" Keegan Jr., age 41 of rural Brodhead, Wisconsin, died Sunday, July 18, 2010 as a result of a bicycle accident. He was born October 5, 1968 in Monroe, WI, the son of Richard H. Sr. and Martha (Eells) Keegan and graduated from Albany High School in 1987. Rick was a self-employed aluminum recycler known as the "Can Man" and helped his parents on the family farm. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Albany.

Surviving are his parents, Richard and Martha Keegan of rural Brodhead; brother, Jeremy (Toni) Keegan of Kewaskum; sister, Susie (Andy) Knauf of Albany; nieces, Kristin, Haley, Alyssa, Kayla, Julia and Lyra; nephew, Jason; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Harry and Julia Keegan and Leo and Thelma Eells.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 2010 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Albany with Fr. Michael Moon Celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Albany.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home, 1455 Mansion Drive and 18th Avenue, in Monroe and from 9:30 to time of service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
