Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Victor Herrera-Tepole, 41, Darlington, was arrested on charges of lewd and lascivious behavior, driving while intoxicated (first offense) and driving without a valid license (second offense) at about 6:50 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, after police were called to the local laundromat. A person at the laundromat reported observing Herrera-Tepole's lewd behavior and confronted him about it. Herrera-Tepole then left the laundromat and drove off in a car, but was stopped and arrested.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Mayolo Garcia Cano, 25, Monroe, was arrested after police responded to a complaint of loud music in the 2500 block of 12th Street at 11:12 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, and they discovered he was wanted on a warrant issued by Dane County for nonpayment of child support. Garcia Cano was released pending a mandatory court appearance.

- A dog owner was cautioned to be careful after police responded at 11:27 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, to a complaint of dogs left in a parked vehicle in the parking lot of Walmart, 300 6th Ave. W.

- Representatives with the Paul Mitchell School were warned not to put up posters for their business on private property after police responded to a complaint from the Goetz Theatre, 1704 11th St., at 12:57 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31. It is a violation of city code to hang posters on private property without the owner's consent.

- A business in the 1300 block of 31st Avenue was issued a warning notice Friday, Aug. 31, to clean up noxious weeds on the property.

- Two slashed tires on a vehicle were reported at 9:36 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, in the 1000 block of 7th Avenue.

- Four young boys reportedly took some Nintendo games from a yard sale in the 2300 block of 5th Avenue at 1:31 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1. Police located the boys and the games, which were returned to the yard sale. The victim was satisfied with an apology. The culprits were turned over to their parents.

- An officer on patrol saw smoke at 1:49 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, tracked down the source and discovered an illegal open burning of brush in the 1100 block of 19th Street. The fire was put out.

- A dog owner was cautioned to be careful after police responded at 11:26 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, to a complaint of dogs left in a parked vehicle in the 1100 block of 16th Avenue.

- A wallet was reported lost in the 200 block of 6th Avenue West and turned over to police at 12:04 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2. If found, call dispatch at 329-2400.

- A resident reported capturing a friendly stray cat at 12:35 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, in the 1200 block of 2nd Street.

- A person found working on a vehicle in the parking ramp, 1501 11th St., was warned to take the repair project elsewhere.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Jeffrey Wayne Walters, 54, Monroe, was arrested at the Green County Justice Center at 11:59 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, on two warrants issued by Green County for failure to pay a fine and child support. He was jailed.

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday, Sept. 4:

- Ryan J. Thompson, 34, Warren, Ill., was cited for speeding at 6:15 a.m. on County XX in the Town of Belmont.

- Kirk S. Nichols, 26, Oshkosh, was cited for speeding at 6:34 a.m. on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Eduard Dyachenko, 37, Fitchburg, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance and non-registration of an auto at 6:41 a.m. on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Suzette M. Sharp, 21, Mineral Point, was cited for speeding at 6:59 a.m. on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Bryce A. Galston, 23, Sun Prairie, was cited for speeding and driving without vehicle insurance at 6:59 a.m. on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Mark A. Warner, 36, Hollandale, was cited for speeding and driving without insurance at 7:44 a.m. on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Barbara A. Westfall, 53, Mount Horeb, was cited for speeding and driving without vehicle insurance at 8:14 a.m. on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Karlee M. Cleary, 19, Platteville, was cited for speeding and driving without vehicle insurance at 8:32 a.m. on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Joseph H. Mayr, Jr., 58, Columbus, was cited for unsafe lane deviation and driving without vehicle insurance at 8:34 p.m. on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- John O. Ifediora, 56, Madison, was cited for speeding and driving without vehicle insurance at 9:14 a.m. on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Laura Ann Settle, 28, Lake City, Minn., was cited for speeding at 9:53 a.m. on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Victor Ramirez-Hernandez, 24, Monroe, was cited for driving without a valid license at 10:27 a.m. on Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Gratiot.

- John A. Phillips, 21, Albany, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance and non-registration of an auto at 11:51 a.m. on Wisconsin 81 in the Town of Lamont.

- Siara L. Kirkland, 19, Livingston, was cited for speeding at 7:35 p.m. on Sunnydale Road in the Town of Belmont.
