Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Eliam Gutierrez, 20, Darlington, was arrested Wednesday, Sept. 26, on charges of driving without a valid license (second offense) and driving without vehicle insurance. He posted bond and was released pending court.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Olivia L.J. Halvorson, 23, Belleville, was arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked license at 3:23 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the Green County Justice Center. She was released pending court.

• Daniel J. Rupp, 45, Dodgeville, was cited for driving with a suspended license (third offense), and David A. Nyhus, 64, New Glarus, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign, following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Wisconsin 39 and County J in the Town of York at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26. Nyhus was northbound on County J in a black 1985 Ford F250 pickup pulling a hay trailer. He reported making a proper stop at the stop sign and that he did not see any oncoming traffic due to the position of the sun and configuration of the intersection. As Nyhus entered the intersection, a black 2000 Ford Explorer driven by Rupp crested the hill traveling eastbound. Nyhus stopped his vehicle part way into the intersection and was unable to back out due to traffic behind him. Rupp took evasive action but was unable to avoid colliding with Nyhus. Neither driver reported injuries. Rupp's vehicle sustained severe rear passenger side damage and was able to be driven from the scene. Nyhus' vehicle sustained moderate front driver side damage and was driven from the scene.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Shane M. Molitor, 25, Platteville, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, possession of a firearm while under the influence and possession of a narcotic at 12:56 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, after deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on County XX in the Town of Belmont. He was jailed.

• Andrew A. Stocks, 27, Gratiot, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, on Wisconsin 11 in Benton.

• An attempted burglary was reported at 9:52 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, on Leahy Road in the Town of Monticello.
