Monroe Police

MONROE - On Thursday:

• Stuart M. Rogers, 54, Freeport, was arrested at 12:05 a.m. in the 1300 block of 17th Street on two outstanding warrants issued by the Dane County Sheriff's Department for misdemeanor charges from 2011 of bail jumping and creating graffiti at or near the Wisconsin State Capitol building. He was jailed.

• Peter J. Bonlie, 59, Albany, was arrested on a charge of bail jumping at 5:15 p.m. in the 1200 block of 19th Street. He was jailed. In court Friday, his signature bond was set at $1,000 with the conditions that he not drink or go into bars or liquor stores. A pre-trial conference is set for Oct. 6.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Dustin D. Schmid, 22, Monroe, was arrested in the 2800 block of 6th Street at 12:18 p.m. Thursday on a warrant issued by Green County. He was jailed.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday:

• A deputy discovered an open door at 1:28 a.m. on 2nd Street, Town of Fayette.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 3:07 a.m. on Wisconsin 23, Town of Darlington.

• A deputy responded at 8:03 a.m. to an alarm on West Main Street in Benton. It was unfounded.

• A deputy provided a funeral escort at 12:30 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 1:10 p.m. on County D, Town of Wayne.

• Jennifer L. Pruitt, 41, Benton, was cited for failure to maintain property and public nuisance (noxious weeds) at 2:20 p.m. on Railroad Avenue in Benton.

• A deputy assisted the Green County Sheriff's Office at 3:55 p.m. on North State Street in Argyle for an identity theft case.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 3:58 p.m. on Jenkynsville Road, Town of Benton.

• Steven H. Haldorf, 59, Cuba City, was cited for speeding (16-19 mph over) at 4:23 p.m. on County I, Town of New Diggings.

• Christopher J. Gecan, 31, Tinley Park, Ill., was cited for speeding (20-24 mph over) at 5:01 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 6:20 p.m. on Rollercoaster Road, Town of Darlington.

• A deputy assisted the Green County Sheriff's Office at 8 p.m. by checking welfare on Hawley Road, Town of Gratiot.

• A deputy assisted the Green County Sheriff's Office at 8:44 p.m. on South Park Street in Belmont by delivering a message. Belmont police assisted on scene.

• A deputy checked welfare at 9:07 p.m. on Cross Street in Blanchardville.
