MONROE - On Tuesday:
• Tony E. Zimmerman, 40, Brodhead, was cited for public nuisance-animal after his chickens entered a neighbor's yard and caused property damage in the N4600 block of County E, Decatur Township, at 9:29 a.m. Deputies had warned Zimmerman about animal-related public nuisances in the past.
• Jamie Lee Anderson, 22, Argyle, was arrested at 10:02 p.m. after deputies responded to a welfare check in the W9300 block of Dog Hollow Road, Jordan Township, and discovered Anderson had a warrant for failure to pay child support. Anderson was jailed pending court.
