Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - On Saturday:

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 5:24 a.m. in the 500 block of East 3rd Avenue. Police found that subjects at the residence got into an altercation. One of the subjects left the residence for the evening.

• A Brodhead woman, 20, was cited for harassment at 12:38 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue.



Monroe Police

MONROE - On Saturday:

• David J. Winkler, 43, Monroe, was arrested at 11:35 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, in the 700 block of 8th Avenue on one count of felony bail jumping and one count of misdemeanor bail jumping. An officer observed Winkler purchase alcohol at a local business, in violation of court orders that he not possess or consume alcohol.



New Glarus Police Department

NEW GLARUS - On Monday, Sept. 11:

• At 6:46 a.m., police were dispatched to a report of a burglary at a business on Wisconsin 69. Suspect(s) had entered the business after-hours and stole cash.

• At 10:20 a.m., police received a complaint of burglary of a business on 5th Avenue. Suspect(s) forced entry and stole cash.

• At 1:27 p.m., police responded to a request to check welfare on a family in the 500 block of 14th Avenue. Everything turned out to be fine. No other action was taken.

• At 4:08 p.m., police responded to a report of a found dog in the 800 block of 3rd Avenue. The owner was later located and the dog returned.

• At 8:47 p.m., a lost iPhone 7 was reported in the area of Wis. 69 at 6th Avenue.

On Tuesday, Sept. 12:

• At 1:22 p.m., police responded to the Industrial Park for a report of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was later located and contact made with the driver.

• At 6:36 p.m., Fletcher J. Dahl, 30, Prairie du Sac, was cited for theft and driving with a suspended license after police responded to a report of a gas drive-off in the 600 block of Wisconsin 69.

• At 7:07 p.m., New Glarus police assisted the Green County Sheriff's Department with a motor vehicle accident in the W4700 block of County W.

On Wednesday, Sept. 13:

• At 2:01 p.m., police received a parking complaint in the 1700 block of 2nd Street.

• At 5:45 p.m., Scott J. Gregurich, 38, Monticello, was cited for failure to notify DMV of an address change after police stopped him for an equipment violation in the 700 block of Wisconsin 69.

• At 7:14 p.m., police removed an orange cone from the roadway in the 100 block of 3rd Avenue.

• At 8:40 p.m., police received a complaint of an altercation that took place in Veteran's Park.

• At 11:45 p.m., a wheelbarrow was located in the 600 block of Oberdorft Court and brought to the police department.

On Thursday:

• At 12:24 a.m., police assisted the Green County Sheriff's Department with a medical call in the 5100 block of County W.

• At 9:07 a.m., police took a report of a fraud attempt. Telemarketers calling from Hometown Productions were trying to sell magnets or maps with advertising on them and saying they are part of the Green County Visitor Guide.

• At 11:08 a.m., an officer responded to the 100 block of 2nd Avenue to check on a male who had made a post to Facebook that indicated he may be suicidal. The officer made contact with him. The male was fine and stated, "Freedom of speech." The officer cleared the call.

• At 12:15 p.m., police assisted with a medical call to the 1600 block of 2nd Street.

• At 2:30 p.m., police observed a vehicle illegally parked at the intersection of 1st Street and 6th Avenue. Contact was made with the driver, and the vehicle was removed.

• At 6:20 p.m., Tracy L. Harrison, 32, New Glarus, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance and non-registration of a vehicle after a traffic stop on 6th Avenue at Railroad Street.

• At 10:49 p.m., Bruce J. Thoman, 49, Monticello, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance after a traffic stop on Wisconsin 69 at 14th Avenue.

On Friday:

• At 1:18 a.m., Jeremy E. Krapp, 31, Monroe, was cited for non-registration of vehicle and driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance on Wisconsin 69 at County W.

• At 1:36 a.m., police were conducting business checks and located an unsecure door. The building was cleared, and everything appeared to be OK. The building was secured.

• At 2:01 p.m., Jonathan M. Parker, 17, Monroe, and Shyann A. Harry, 17, Argyle, were cited for not wearing seatbelts following a traffic stop on Wisconsin 69.

• At 3:20 p.m., Connor V. Siegenthaler, 17, Town of New Glarus, was cited for a violation of his graduated driver's license restrictions after police stopped him for speeding on 2nd Street.

• At 3:35 p.m., a stray kitten was reported at the New Glarus Public Library. The kitten was transported to the Green County Humane Society.

• At 5:27 p.m., police took a report of suspicious phone calls being received at a local business. The matter is being looked into.

• At 7:44 p.m., a missing elderly person was reported in the village. The person was located shortly after officers arrived on scene.

• At 7:48 p.m., police were requested by a parent to keep an eye out for two juveniles who snuck out of their home in rural New Glarus and were believed to be in the village.

• At 8:48 p.m., police were sent to the area of 2nd Street and 11th Avenue for a report of a fireworks being discharged. Upon checking the area, nothing was located or could be heard.

On Saturday:

• At 1:40 a.m., police assisted Belleville police with a fight at a business in Belleville, along with making a warrant arrest.

• At 1:57 p.m., police assisted the New Glarus Sheriff's Department with a residential burglar alarm in the Town of Exeter.

• At 8:58 p.m., an intoxicated male passed out on a porch was reported in the 10 block of 5th Avenue. The 23-year-old male was checked out by New Glarus EMS and released to a responsible person.

On Sunday:

• At 12:44 p.m., Mitchell D. Bliss, 23, New Glarus, was cited for driving with a suspended license, a suspended registration and no vehicle insurance following a traffic stop on Elmer Road.

• At 1:26 p.m., a set of house keys were turned in to police after having been found in the 300 block of 11th Street.

• At 9:15 p.m., police took a report of the theft of a bicycle from a garage in the 200 block of 4th Avenue.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Saturday:

• Nicholas S. Rowley, 22, Brodhead, was arrested for a probation violation after deputies stopped the vehicle he was driving at 2:02 a.m. Sunday on Wisconsin 11 at 17th Street in Brodhead. He was jailed. A passenger in the vehicle, Adam C. Tobler, 26, Davis, Illinois, was cited for possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and released pending court.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Kortez L. Holman-Bams, 25, Platteville, was cited at 12:07 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont, for driving with a suspended license and no proof of vehicle insurance.

• Christopher C. Steenburgen, 28, Citrus Heights, California, was cited for speeding at 7:02 a.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.

• Lisa A. Loeffelholz, 44, Benton, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated after a deputy responded at 8:23 a.m. to a one-vehicle accident in the Town of Darlington. Loeffelholz was driving on Wildcat Road when she lost control of her vehicle and went into the ditch. No injuries were reported. Her 2005 Buick sustained severe damage and was towed. She was booked at the jail and later released.

• A deputy responded at 10:03 a.m. to County F, Town of Seymour, for a complaint of harassment.

• Craig A. Komprood, 47, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of battery after a deputy responded at 11:35 a.m. to a domestic dispute on Furnace Hill Road, Town of Willow Springs. Komprood was booked at the jail and later posted bond.

• Tyler J. Peterson, 21, South Wayne, was cited for speeding at 5:46 p.m. on Wisconsin 11, Town of Wayne.

• A deputy responded to a 911 misdial at 6:03 p.m. on Lake Road, Town of Fayette.

• Deputies responded at 7:27 p.m. to Wisconsin 11, Town of Gratiot, for a traffic complaint.

• Deputies responded at 8:48 p.m. to East Liberty Street in Belmont for a traffic complaint.

• A deputy responded at 9:35 p.m. to North Road, Town of Wiota, for livestock on the road.

• A deputy responded at 10:24 p.m. to Aetna Road, Town of Shullsburg, for a suspicious vehicle complaint.

• Jamie L. Kratochwill, 20, Muscoda, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 10:27 p.m. on Wisconsin 23, Town of Willow Springs.

• Spencer A. Earl, 27, Platteville, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 11:23 p.m. on McNett Street in Belmont.

• A deputy responded at 11:41 p.m. to West Mound Road, Town of Belmont, for livestock on the roadway.

On Saturday:

• Deputies responded at 12:41 a.m. to County XX, Town of Belmont, for a disabled vehicle.

• Deputies assisted Darlington police with a welfare check at 4 a.m. on Frank Street in Darlington.

• Deputies responded to check welfare at 4:50 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

• A deputy assisted a motorist at 5:27 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

• Deputies responded at 12:49 p.m. to a domestic abuse complaint on Mill Street in Argyle.

• A deputy assisted Belmont police with a welfare check at 5:08 p.m. on South Park Street in Belmont.

• A deputy assisted Darlington police with a domestic abuse complaint at 5:16 p.m. on Wisconsin 23, Town of Willow Springs.

• A deputy responded at 8:40 p.m. to West Water Street in Shullsburg for a vehicle lockout.

• Deputies assisted Darlington police at 11:40 p.m. with a disorderly complaint on Main Street in Darlington.
