Monroe PoliceMONROE - A 17-year-old girl was kicked out of a group home in the 1700 block of 15th Street at about 8:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, after she reportedly hit another resident, a 14-year-old girl. Police referred the case to Rock County authorities.On Tuesday, Sept. 18:• Glen A. Swedlund, 35, Monroe, was arrested after police responded to a 911 call at 12:31 a.m. from a 40-year-old woman reporting an altercation at a residence in the 2000 block of 18th Avenue. Swedlund allegedly put the woman in a choke hold to prevent her from leaving and violently put his hand over her mouth.
