Albany Police

- Michael Patterson, 37, Albany, was cited Friday for illegal burning.

- Andrew S. Elmer, 29, Albany, was arrested Saturday on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant, operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration, possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and operating left of the center line.



Brodhead Police

- During the week of Sunday, Sept. 10 to Saturday, Sept. 16, police responded to 71 citizen assists, 60 security checks, 23 calls for service, 15 traffic stops, nine 911 calls, eight agency assists, eight EMS calls and three vehicle registrations. No fire calls or transports for mental health or detox were reported.

On Sunday:

- A Brodhead man, 27, was cited for speeding at 8:25 a.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.

- A Brodhead man, 38, was cited for speeding at 9:12 a.m. in the N300 block of 1st Center Avenue.

- A gas drive-off was reported at 12:53 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police determined it was unintentional, and no charges were filed.

On Monday:

- An Evansville woman, 59, was cited for a violation of the 48-hour parking ordinance in the 500 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Tuesday:

- A Brodhead woman, 23, was cited for having an animal at large at 11:38 a.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue.

- A Brodhead woman, 86, was cited for speeding at 7:13 p.m. in the N300 block of 1st Center Avenue.

- An Oregon woman, 27, was arrested at 10:26 p.m. in the 200 block of 1st Street on charges of operating while intoxicated, operating without a valid license, operating left of center and possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. During the same traffic stop, a New Glarus man, 33, was cited for permitting an unauthorized person to operate a motor vehicle and for possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

On Thursday:

- Disorderly conduct was reported at 8:05 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue. Police issued a warning.

- Police responded at 4:20 p.m. to a traffic crash report of vehicles colliding at an uncontrolled intersection in the 1800 block of West 3rd Avenue. No citations were issued.

- A Boulder, Colorado man, 78, was cited for speeding at 7:08 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.

- A public disturbance of disorderly conduct was reported at 7:50 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. The matter remains under investigation.

On Friday:

- Police responded at 5:44 p.m. to a parking complaint in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue and found a vehicle was parked in a business lot without permission. Police issued a warning.

- The theft of an undisclosed amount of cash from a business was reported at 6:37 p.m. in the 700 block of 21st Street. The matter remains under investigation.

- A fireworks violation was reported at 8:26 p.m. in the 100 block of 13th Street. Police issued a warning.

- A McFarland man, 17, was cited for speeding at 8:57 p.m. in the 300 block of 1st Street.

- A Freeport man, 56, was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 9:16 p.m. in the 700 block of 1st Street.
