Sillman, 20, Browntown, were cited for retail theft at about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, after they allegedly shoplifted ten DVDs from Shopko, 405 W. 8th St.• Police took a report at 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, that window screens had been cut at Monroe Middle School, 1510 13th St., causing about $20 in damage.• A resident in the 1400 block of 11th Street was warned to remove a vehicle parked on the grass in the backyard at 10:12 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, after police responded to a neighbor's complaint.• At 2:47 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, Monroe High School referred a 17-year-old male student to the Monroe Police Department for not coming to school the first week. A citation is pending.• Two skateboarders were warned for riding in the street at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, in the 1300 block of 16th Avenue.• A resident in the 2500 block of 9th Avenue reported at 5:41 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, that a sign supporting Mitt Romney for president had been taken from their front yard.• Police are investigating a possible burglary in the 900 block of 13th Avenue, reported at 7:38 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10. Among the items suspected missing are a firearm, a Japanese Samurai ceremonial sword and marijuana pipes.• A resident in the 900 block of 12th Street was warned for leaving a barking dog outside at 8:58 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, in the 900 block of 12th Street, after police responded to a neighbor's complaint.• Police responded at 9:59 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, to a residence in the 1500 block of 23th Street where barking dogs have been a repeated nuisance.
