Monroe Police

MONROE - A 16-year-old Monroe boy was cited for possession of marijuana at 8:55 a.m. Tuesday at Monroe High School.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Carrie L. Xander, 43, Brooklyn, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident with minor injuries at 11:20 p.m. Monday in the W7900 block of Wisconsin 39, Town of York. Xander lost control on a curve, and her vehicle spun, went into a ditch and struck an embankment. She declined medical treatment. She was also cited for failing to maintain control of her vehicle, driving without proof of vehicle insurance, failure to notify police of a crash and driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration. She was released pending court. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed. New Glarus police assisted at the scene.

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:

• Suspicious activity was reported at 12:35 a.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

• A traffic complaint was reported at 7:19 a.m. on Bethel Grove Road, Town of Kendall.

• A deputy provided traffic control at 7:33 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Kendall.

• A report of criminal damage to a mailbox was reported at 8:02 a.m. on Bennett Road, Town of New Diggings.

• A deputy responded to confirm an individual's welfare at 9:14 a.m. on East High Street in Shullsburg.

• A dog running at large was reported at 9:15 a.m. on Cross Street in Benton.

• A deputy responded to a 911 hang-up at 10:01 a.m. on West Water Street in Shullsburg.

• Donald R. McKeon, 48, Darlington, was cited for speeding at 1:59 p.m. on County U, Town of Shullsburg.

• A residential alarm was activated at 2:51 p.m. at a residence on East Peace Street in Shullsburg.

• A deputy assisted Lafayette County Human Services at 3:08 p.m. on West Water Street in Shullsburg.

• A deputy escorted an individual to a location on County W, Town of New Diggings, at 5:48 p.m.

• Deputies investigated an open door at 7:36 p.m. on County J, Town of Benton.

• Criminal damage to property was reported at 9:20 p.m. at a residence on County Y, Town of Wiota.
