Monroe Police

MONROE -Elizabeth E. Amundson, 28, Brodhead, was arrested at 5:37 p.m. Friday in the 1100 block of 10th Street on a warrant issued through the Beloit Police Department. Amundson was jailed pending court or extradition.

On Saturday:

• Travis J. Runke, 42, Monroe, was arrested at 5:10 a.m. for domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct after police responded to the 500 block of 21st Street. Runke was jailed pending court.

• Paul M. Parker, 21, Monroe, was arrested at 11:38 p.m. in the 1700 block of 22nd Avenue on a warrant issued through the Walworth County Sheriff's Office. Parker was jailed pending court.

On Sunday:

• Javarski L. McGee, 32, Freeport, was arrested at 1:54 a.m. for possession of marijuana and on a warrant issued through the Illinois Department of Corrections. McGee was jailed pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Friday:

• Jeremey A. Rutledge, 35, Monroe, was arrested at 2:10 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, fourth offense, and improper parking on the roadway after deputies responded to a truck parked in the roadway in the N1600 block of Wisconsin 69, Town of Clarno. Rutledge was jailed and then released after posting bond. Online court records indicate Rutledge was convicted of DWI in January 2007; no other DWI offenses could be found. He was released Friday on a $1,000 signature bond with additional conditions that he not drink or enter bars or liquor stores. He has a pre-trial conference set for Jan. 6.

• Dylan C. McMahon, 22, rural Monroe, was arrested at 1:58 a.m. for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and misuse of a prescription after deputies responded to a 911 call with background noise of yelling on Woodman Road, Town of Clarno. McMahon was jailed pending court and the investigation continues.

On Saturday:

• Ryan D. Timm, 27, Monticello, was arrested at 1:20 a.m. for DWI, first offense, after deputies stopped his vehicle in the N7100 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus. Timm was also cited for driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration and failing to dim high beams. He was released to a responsible party pending court.

• Alex J. Meligan, 24, Monroe, was arrested at 11:47 p.m. for DWI, second offense, after deputies stopped his vehicle for traveling left of center in the 2300 block of 13th Street, City of Monroe. Meligan was cited for driving left of center and released to a responsible party pending court. Monroe police assisted with the case.

On Sunday:

• Jeremy D. Schaefer, 33, Blanchardville, was cited at 5:08 a.m. for driving while suspended, sixth offense, after deputies stopped his vehicle on Wis. 69 at County B, Town of Clarno. Schaefer was released pending court.

• Jose M. Eslava-Mejia, 30, Cicero, Ill., was cited at 9:08 p.m. for driving without a valid license in the W1800 block of Wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove. Eslava-Mejia was also warned for speeding and released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON -On Friday:

• A deputy responded at 2:40 a.m. to a report of a cat bite at County O, Seymour Township.

• A deputy responded to an animal neglect complaint at 9:45 a.m. on Martin Road, Shullsburg Township.

• Elvis Abduli, 19, Winslow, Ill., was cited at 10:23 p.m. for possession of marijuana and underage drinking after a traffic stop at State Line Road, Gratiot Township. Caleb Cheeney, 21, Lena, was cited for permitting minors to consume alcohol in the same incident. Savanah Bunnell, 19, Freeport, Ill., was cited for underage drinking in the same incident.

On Saturday:

• A deputy responded to an animal at large complaint at 10:45 a.m. on Knee Deep Road, New Diggings Township.

• A deputy took a report of an ATV complaint on the Cheese Country Trail, Willow Springs Township, at 3:12 p.m.

• A deputy was dispatched at 6:30 p.m. for a report of an animal bite on South Lafayette Street, Village of Argyle.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - On Wednesday:

• Police received a complaint of a man inappropriately touching a female victim in the 1400 block of Wis. 69 in an incident that occurred on Oct. 16. The incident remains under investigation.

• Police took a complaint of a fraud-type scam in which the caller stated they were calling from Microsoft and needed to log onto a private computer to fix the problem. Police urge citizens not to allow remote access to their computers unless the citizen initiates contact.

• Korie T. Schiffman, 44, New Glarus, was arrested at 6:40 p.m. in the 1200 block of 5th Street on a Department of Corrections warrant. Police were initially called to investigate a possible drug overdose. After Schiffman was medically cleared, he was jailed pending court. Schiffman could potentially be charged for possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of medications without a prescription.
