Monroe Police

MONROE - Jeramiah R. Fuchs, 23, Monroe, was cited for driving with a revoked license and no vehicle insurance following a two-vehicle collision with no injuries in a parking lot in the 700 block of 8th Avenue at 7:38 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25. Fuchs struck a vehicle driven by Brandon L. Lohaus, 37, Monroe. There was moderate damage to both vehicles.

- A neighbor called at 11:50 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, to complain that an aggressive dog in the 2500 block of 10th Street was digging its way out of the owner's yard. An officer warned the owner not to allow the dog to run at large and offered advice on how to keep the dog from escaping.

- A piece of drug paraphernalia and a "very small amount of suspected marijuana" were located during sweep of Monroe High School, Monroe Middle School and Monroe Alternative Charter School and their parking lots Thursday, Oct. 25. Citations are pending. The search was conducted with the drug-sniffing capabilities of Monroe's K-9 unit - Augie and Sgt. Dan Maresch - as well as K-9 units from Green, Lafayette, Rock and Iowa Counties, Janesville and Darlington.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Traci Lynn Shippy, 46, Boscobel, was taken into custody at the Green County Sheriff's Department at 1:19 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, after she turned herself in for a warrant issued by Green County for failure to pay child support.

- Anyone with information about a hit-and-run accident reported at 9:34 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, is encouraged to contact the Green County Sheriff's Department at (608) 328-9400. Rebecca Jo Kammes, 19, Monticello, was southbound in the N3300 block of Wisconsin 69 in the Town of Monroe when her vehicle was sideswiped by a northbound black full-sized truck. She was not injured. Her vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Oct. 25:

- Randy G. Joslin, 28, Shullsburg, was arrested on a charge of bail jumping at 11:21 a.m. on Main Street in Shullsburg. He was jailed.

- Phillip W.L. Kirschbaum, 24, Darlington, was cited for driving with a revoked license and no vehicle insurance following a traffic stop at 12:20 p.m. on Main Street in Darlington. He was jailed on a probation and parole violation.

- Douglas W. Champion, 19, Shullsburg, was arrested on a probation and parole violation at an unspecified location at 7:14 p.m.

- Dallas J. Hoffman, 22, Belmont, was cited for disorderly conduct at 3:26 p.m. following a verbal disagreement at a residence on Wood Street in Belmont.

- Telephone harassment was reported at 12:20 p.m. on Hill Street in Blanchardville.

- The theft of a vehicle was reported at 2:05 p.m. on County F in the Town of Fayette.
