Monroe Police

MONROE - Leila V. Rowan-Shults, 50, of Monroe was arrested for retail theft after officers responded at 4:14 p.m. Thursday to a business in the 700 block of 8th Street. Rowan-Shults was cited and released with a court date.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Adam Daniel Kierna, 31, Juda, was arrested at 12:05 p.m. Thursday in Juda on a Brodhead Police Department warrant for failure to pay a fine for operating without a license. He posted bond and was released.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday:

• Travis J. McGuire, 33, Darlington, was cited at 4:47 a.m. for speeding on Wisconsin 23, Darlington Township.

• A deputy responded at 7:46 a.m. to County W, White Oak Springs Township, for a theft complaint.

• At 10 a.m., a deputy responded to Furnace Hill Road, Willow Springs Township, for a trespassing complaint.

• A deputy responded at 3:47 p.m. to Main Street in Benton for a traffic complaint.

• At 4:20 p.m., a deputy responded to Ballard Road, Willow Springs Township, to check the welfare of an individual.

• Maria D. Moraza Flores, 49, Platteville, was cited at 7:19 p.m. for operating after suspension on County XX, Belmont Township.

• Austin J. Penniston, 36, Argyle, was arrested at 9 p.m. when a deputy assisted Argyle police on Colfax Street in Argyle for a warrant pickup. He was taken to the Lafayette County Jail on two valid warrants. Penniston was booked in and remains in custody.

• A deputy responded at 9:12 p.m. to Fort Defiance Road, Willow Springs Township, for livestock on the roadway.
