MONROE - A 16-year-old boy was arrested at 8:23 p.m. Wednesday for retail theft from a business in the 400 block of West 8th Street. He was released to a parent.

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• A deputy responded to a traffic complaint of an animal in the roadway on Wisconsin 78, Blanchard Township, at 4:49 a.m.

• A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle complaint at 10:30 a.m. on Noble Street, Village of Gratiot.

• A deputy responded at 9:02 p.m. to an injured animal on Walnut Road, Darlington Township.

• A deputy responded to an injured animal on Wis. 78, Argyle Township, at 11:28 p.m.
