MONROE POLICE

MONROE - Terra J. Alderman, 22, Brodhead, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver's license, second offense, misdemeanor bail jumping and a warrant by the Monroe Police Department following a traffic accident at about 1 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of 30th Avenue. Alderman was jailed.

• William C. Rouse, 36, Monroe was arrested due to a probation violation at about 3 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Eighth Street. Rouse was jailed.

• Steve A. Walters, 38, Monroe, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver's license, third offense, following a traffic stop at about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Sixth Street. Walters was released pending court.

• Hannah M. Trytek, 17, Monroe, and a 14-year-old juvenile were arrested for retail theft at about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of West 8th Street. A second 14-year-old juvenile was arrested for underage possession of tobacco. The subjects were released pending court.

GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - Justin W. Hartwig, 23, rural Belleville, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday on Nye Road at County D in the Town of Exeter. Hartwig also was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign at Dayton Street and County D. Hartwig was released pending court.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - Natasha L. Hagan, 19, Janesville, was cited for operating after suspension and seatbelt violation at about 1 p.m. Tuesday on North Road in Wiota township.

• Deputies investigated a theft reported at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday on County W in New Diggings township. Copper wire was reported taken from the location. The incident remains under investigation.
