MONROE - Henry Ty Nelson, 45, Monroe, was arrested at 11:38 a.m. Friday in the 400 block of West 8th Street on two warrants, one through the Winnebago (Illinois) County Sheriff's Office and the other through the Arkansas Board of Parole for probation violations, after officers investigated a complaint of a suspicious vehicle. He was jailed.
Antoine J. West, 34, Chicago, was arrested on charges of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct and resisting/obstructing an officer after officers responded at 10:55 a.m. Saturday to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the 300 block of 4th Street. West had fled the home before police arrived but was located at 4:02 p.m. in the 300 block of 8th Street. He was jailed.

NEW GLARUS - On Monday, Nov. 13:
Police assisted the Green County Sheriff's Office at 1:18 p.m. with a loose calf in the N9500 block of Wis. 69.
Someone ringing doorbells and possibly lighting off firecrackers was reported at 5:20 p.m. in the 100 block of 11th Avenue.
Skyler L. Leone, 28, Monroe, was cited for operating without required lights and without vehicle insurance at 8:43 p.m. on Wis. 69.

A dog running at large was reported at 12:17 p.m. in the 200 block of 5th Avenue. The dog was caught and secured at the police department. The dog's owner, Carla B. Kelley, 45, New Glarus, was cited for allowing a dog to run at large.

Zimmerman, 18, New Glarus, was cited for inattentive driving and failure to yield right-of-way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk after police were dispatched at 4:31 p.m. to a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident on 6th Avenue at 1st Street. The pedestrian was injured and taken to a hospital. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
