MONROE - On Thursday, Nov. 15:

• A cellphone was found near the intersection of 23rd Street and 18th Avenue at 12:53 p.m. and brought to the police station. To claim, call (608) 329-2400.

• A caller at 2:37 p.m. reported finding a cat carcass in a residential yard in the 2000 block of 8th Street. The caller was concerned that the cat's abdomen was missing, possibly eaten by a predator. An officer disposed of the animal.

• A gas drive-off was reported at 4:26 p.m. at Kwik Trip, 1019 9th St.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Joshua James Strehlow, 18, Brodhead, was cited for driving with a suspended license, a seatbelt violation and underage possession of alcohol at 9:26 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, after deputies stopped him for a traffic infraction on Zurfluh Road at Tin Can Road in the Town of Albany.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Brandon F. Hoey, 22, Shullsburg, was cited for driving with an expired vehicle registration, no vehicle insurance and an equipment violation at 9:19 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, on Wisconsin 11 in Benton.

• A deputy investigated a complaint of telephone harassment at a residence on County Z in the Town of Kendall at 6:40 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15. The complainant was receiving threatening calls from another person.
