Monroe Police

MONROE-The following items were reported lost over the Nov. 9-11 weekend: a cellphone at 9:42 a.m. Friday; a chainsaw in its case that fell off a pick-up truck near the 2200 block of 21st Street at 11:37 p.m. Friday; a wallet at 12:09 p.m. Saturday; a man's coat with a set of keys inside that fell off the back of a vehicle in the 2500 block of 1st Street at 10:04 a.m. Sunday. If found, stop by the station or call dispatch at (608) 329-2400.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Gary L. Baker, 42, Madison, was cited for driving without a valid license at 12:08 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, in the 1100 block of Wisconsin 69.

• Jonathan R. Leverton Duerst, 19, New Glarus, was cited for driving with a suspended license and failing to stop for an adult crossing guard at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, in the 1400 block of 2nd Street.

• Alexis M. Hanson, 17, New Glarus, was cited for driving with an expired registration at 3:10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, on 2nd Street at 12th Avenue.

• Steven J. Gassman, 45, New Glarus, was cited at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, for failing to stop for an adult crossing guard in the 1400 block of 2nd Street after the guard saw the violation at 7:55 a.m. that morning.

• Jaron D. Neuenschwander Luebke, 20, Monroe, was cited for driving without a valid license at 3:09 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, on Wis. 69 near 6th Avenue.

• Jorge Garcia Valdez, 66, New Glarus, was cited for driving without a valid license at 5:44 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, after an officer stopped him for an equipment violation on 6th Avenue at 1st Street.

• An officer was dispatched at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, to assist a person in getting property back from another person. The dispute over property was civil in nature, and the officer advised the person to contact an attorney.

• A student at New Glarus High School was cited for truancy after police responded to a report at 9:23 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, that the student was not attending school and had several unexcused absences.

• A case of possible physical child abuse in New Glarus was reported at 12:49 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8. Police are working with Green County Human Services to investigate.

Albany Police

ALBANY - Briana K. Rufer, 20, and Brent A. Wollin, 21, both of Monroe, were cited for theft Sunday, Nov. 4.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Andrew R. Converse, 23, rural Monticello, was arrested at 8:45 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, on a warrant issued by the Evansville Police Department for failure to pay a fine. He posted bond and was released.

On Sunday, Nov. 11:

• Cody A. Kirschbaum, 24, Evansville, was arrested on a Green County bench warrant for failure to appear in court after deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction at 3:49 p.m. near Richland Road in the Town of Jefferson. He was also cited for driving with a suspended license. He was jailed.

• Ross A. Weter, 25, Monroe, was cited for driving with a suspended license after a deputy stopped him for a traffic infraction at 5:31 a.m. in the N4000 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of Monroe.
