MONROE - Two people were arrested and four people were cited following a report of an underage drinking party around 10:45 p.m. Saturday in the N6500 block of English Settlement Road. Brence Hines, 19, Belleville, was arrested for underage drinking and two warrants issued by the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department. He was turned over to the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department. Justin Sonnenberg, 19 Oregon, was arrested for third-offense underage drinking and a warrant issued by the Marquette County Sheriff's Department. He was jailed. Jeromy M. Bragg and Leandre T. Brown, both 18 and both from Albany, were cited with first- and second-offense underage drinking, respectively. Christopher C. Spahn, 22, Albany, was cited for second-offense contributing alcohol to minors. Tyler M. Miller, 18, McFarland, was cited for underage drinking and disorderly conduct. All were released pending court.
Richard C. Tranel, 83, Monroe, was arrested for two counts of violating a restraining order after he was within 100 yards of a residence he was ordered to stay away from Saturday in Clarno township. He was jailed pending court.
