Albany Police

ALBANY - Heather L. Halvorson, 24, Albany, was cited Thursday, Feb. 28, for driving with a suspended license.

- Christopher C. Murray, 21, Evansville, was cited Friday, March 1, for driving with a suspended license.

- Melissa M. Molina, 39, Madison, and Jacob A. Skibba, 34, Albany, were cited Friday, March 1, for prohibited smoking in Center Tavern, 108 N. Water St.

Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Cody J. Hansen, 19, and Michael D. Tennell, 21, both of Gratiot, were cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at 8:25 p.m. Saturday, March 2, after the Darlington K-9 Unit assisted with a traffic stop on Wisconsin 23 and County K.

- Luis Gonzalo Sanchez Atalaya, 49, Belmont, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance at 11:41 p.m. Sunday, March 3, following a traffic stop on Galena Street.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Kwasi F. Rogers, 22, Richfield, Minn., was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia after bar staff at Friendly Inn, 1335 17th St., flagged down an officer at 2:43 a.m. Sunday, March 3, to report that Rogers was highly intoxicated and possibly didn¹t know where he was. Police patted him down and found a marijuana grinder in his pocket. Rogers vomited in the back of the squad car on the way to the Monroe Clinic ER for a medical clearance and allegedly tried to punch an officer. In court Monday, March 4, he pleaded not guilty to all charges. His signature bond was set at $750. His next court date is April 16.

- Allison R. Crubaugh, 18, Monroe, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign after officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at Wis. 69 at 30th Street at 3:32 p.m. Friday, March 1. Crubaugh was westbound on 30th Street when she hit a vehicle driven northbound on Wis. 69 by Jill Wetteland, 63, Mundelien, Ill. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were severely damaged and towed.

- In response to citizen complaints on Friday, March 1, property owners were warned to shovel sidewalks in the 1400 block of 21st Street, 100 block of West 8th Street, 1500 block of 25th Street, 1900 block of 11th Avenue and 2100 block of 16th Avenue.

- A man in the 1200 block of 14th Avenue reported at 3:33 p.m. Friday, March 1, that his daughter¹s ex-boyfriend has been harassing her. Police advised him on how to file a no-contact order with the court.

- A large amount of broken glass, possibly from old florescent light bulbs, was reported in the road in the 400 block of West 8th Street at 3:40 p.m. Friday, March 1. Police and street crews responded to clean it up.

- Police were called to a snow-related dispute in an apartment building parking lot in the 1300 block of 16th Street at 5:47 p.m. Friday, March 1. When police arrived, at least two men and one woman were yelling and there were allegations that one of the men flashed a knife. No one was cited or arrested.

- A resident in an apartment building in the 2200 block of 1st Street reported neighbors for playing loud music at 3:47 a.m. Saturday, March 2. No one came to the door of the offending apartment when an officer knocked.

- A Labrador mix was found running at large in Recreation Park, 1700 22nd Ave., at 9:24 a.m. Saturday, March 2. The dog was turned over to the Green County Humane Society.

- The owner of a vehicle in the 1000 block of 17th Avenue reported at 1:38 p.m. Saturday, March 2, that someone loosened the vehicle's lug nuts sometime overnight Thursday into Friday. Police are investigating a suspect.

- A man in the 500 block of West 21st Street reported at 2:56 p.m. Sunday, March 3, that his girlfriend¹s ex-boyfriend was harassing him.

- The theft of a wallet was reported at Piggly Wiggly, 725 8th St., at 5:35 p.m. Sunday, March 3.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Anthony O. Haley, 23, New Glarus, was arrested at 5:49 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, on a warrant issued by the Argyle Police Department. Bond was posted, and Haley was released.

- Amanda L. Piller, 26, Evansville, was arrested on a first-offense charge of driving while intoxicated after police stopped her for a registration violation in the 200 block of 6th Avenue at 12:38 a.m. Saturday, March 2. She was later released to a responsible person.

- Natalia V. Herring, 25, Edgerton, was cited for a seatbelt violation and driving without a valid license at 4:02 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

- Jodi N. Walters, 29, Brodhead, was cited for driving with an expired license after an officer stopped her for a registration violation in the 1300 block of Wis. 69 at 4:09 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27.

- Lynn P. Nimsomboon, 36, Brodhead, was cited for an expired vehicle registration at 5:01 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

- Ryan T. Elms, 23, Mount Horeb, was cited for speeding in the 1000 block of Wis. 69 at 7:25 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28.

- Police assisted the Department of Natural Resources with investigating snowmobile violations on the trail that goes through New Glarus at 3:23 p.m. Saturday, March 2.

- Damage caused by an airsoft gun to a residence in the 500 block of 14th Avenue was reported via a 911 call at 4:28 p.m. Saturday, March 2. A family member admitted responsibility. Parents requested no other action be taken.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Michael J. Juras, 23, Hollandale, was arrested in Iowa County on a warrant issued by the Blanchardville Police Department and transported at 10:28 p.m. Friday, March 1, to the Lafayette County Jail. He remains jailed.

- Ryan J. Arling, 37, East Dubuque, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant issued by Lafayette County for unpaid child support during a traffic stop at 1:37 p.m. Saturday, March 2, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont. He was also cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was unable to post the required bond and remains jailed.

- Zachery R. Bowen, 23, Argyle, was arrested in Iowa County on warrants issued by Lafayette County and transported to the Lafayette County Jail at 12:10 p.m. Sunday, March 3. He later posted bond and was released.

- Genevieve M. Shepherd, 23, Benton, was cited for hit-and-run on an unattended vehicle after a deputy responded at 9:39 a.m. Friday, March 1, to investigate a hit-and-run that occurred Feb. 23 in a private driveway in Benton. The legally parked vehicle is owned by Valdemar Garcias Santos, Benton. It was moderately damaged. Shepherd's vehicle sustained minor damage.

- Cody R. Winters, 24, Nashua, Iowa, was cited for passing in a no-passing zone on Wis. 11 in Benton at 12:36 p.m. Friday, March 1.

- Aaron V. Duecker, 21, Monroe, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 11:47 p.m. Friday, March 1, on Wis. 81 in the Town of Argyle.

- Mary J. Kartz, 54, Wauwatosa, was cited for speeding on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont at 8:39 a.m. Saturday, March 2.

- Gina M. Greenwood, 48, Madison, was cited for speeding on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont at 8:54 a.m. Saturday, March 2.

- Roger C. Coleman, 20, Milwaukee, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 9:42 a.m. Saturday, March 2, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Phillip J. Rehberg, 57, Waukesha, was cited for speeding on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont at 10:09 a.m. Saturday, March 2.

- Kristen E. Blasiole, 40, Fitchburg, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont at 10:33 a.m. Saturday, March 2.

- Jessica K. Gillen, 28, Oshkosh, was cited for speeding and driving without proof of vehicle insurance on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont at 10:58 a.m. Saturday, March 2.

- Curtis L. Gillenwater, 34, Dubuque, Iowa, was cited for speeding, no driver's license, no proof of vehicle insurance and making an unlawful Y or U turn on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont at 11:26 a.m. Saturday, March 2.

- Douglas R. Olson, 34, Darlington, was cited for speeding on Wis. 81 in the Town of Willow Springs at 8:31 a.m. Sunday, March 3.

- Cristal L. Bockhop, 52, Belmont, was cited for unsafe lane deviation on Wis. 81 in the Town of Seymour at 8:48 a.m. Sunday, March 3.

- A theft of gasoline was reported on Robert Homb Memorial Drive in the Town of Wayne at 1:43 p.m. Friday, March 1.

- The theft of a computer from a residence on Holland Lane in the Town of Willow Springs was reported at 11:55 a.m. Saturday, March 2.

- Deputies responded to a residence on Galena Street in Argyle at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2, to assist Argyle police at the scene of a domestic dispute.

- A male hitchhiker was reported in the area of Wis. 126 in the Town of Elk Grove at 9:28 p.m. Saturday, March 2. The man was not located.

- Animal neglect was reported on Wis. 81 in the Town of Elk Grove at 3:36 p.m. Sunday, March 3.

- A license plate was reported lost or stolen from a vehicle parked on South Mound Avenue in Belmont at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 3.

- A deputy responded to a residence on County XX in the Town of Belmont at 5:38 p.m. Sunday, March 3, for a civil dispute about child custody issues.
