Monroe Police

MONROE - Kole A. Figi, 20, Argyle, was arrested at 5:51 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of 14th Avenue on a Lafayette County Sheriff's Department warrant. Figi was confined in the Green County jail and later transported to the county line by a Green County deputy and turned over to a Lafayette County deputy and jailed.

MONROE - Daniel J. Van Lyssel Jr., 38, Weyauwega, was arrested at 5 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of South Rutland Avenue, village of Brooklyn, on a Waushara County Sheriff's Department warrant for failure to pay a fine, according to online court records. Deputies stopped Van Lyssel's vehicle for a speeding violation. Van Lyssel posted bond and was released.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Monday:

• A deputy assisted Shullsburg police with investigating a suspicious vehicle at 12:07 p.m. on Peace Street, city of Shullsburg.

• A deputy responded to a complaint of criminal damage to a mailbox on Wilkinson Road, Benton Township, at 3:07 p.m.
