ALBANY POLICE

ALBANY - Jason M. Douglas, 34, Albany, was cited Saturday for driving with a suspended license and non-registration of a vehicle.



BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - For the week of March 20 to March 26, there were 107 calls for service, 24 citizen assists, 18 registrations, 13 security checks, seven 911 calls, five assists of other agencies, five EMS calls, three fire calls and two traffic stops.

On March 20:

• Litter was reported at 9:08 a.m. along the raceway in the 1100 block of 11th Street.

• A gas drive-off occurred at 1:02 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police are seeking a suspect to question.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 6:46 p.m. in the 900 block of 13th Street.

On March 21, a resident reported having received a fraudulent letter at 12:45 p.m. in the 1100 block of 21st Street.

On March 22, a burglary was reported at 12:30 p.m. in the 800 block of 12th Street. The matter remains under investigation.

On Wednesday:

• A missing person was reported at 1:10 a.m. in the 1500 block of West 7th Avenue. During the investigation, the subject was found by another party.

• A domestic disturbance was reported at 7:33 p.m. in the 500 block of East 7th Avenue.

On Thursday:

• A 24-year-old Brodhead man was arrested at 4:49 p.m. on a Department of Corrections warrant in the 900 block of 1st Center Street.

• A gas drive-off was reported at 7:04 p.m. in the 1109 block of 1st Center Avenue. The incident was determined to be an error.

• Barking dogs were reported at 10:23 p.m. in the 1500 block of West 3rd Avenue. The animals' owner was issued a warning.

On Saturday:

• A 25-year-old Brodhead man was arrested at 2:51 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, driving with a prohibited alcohol content and without headlights in the 500 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 4:19 a.m. in the 500 block of East 3rd Avenue.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - On March 21:

• Valerie E. Eilers, 38, Freeport, was cited at 10:10 a.m. for speeding in the 1100 block of Wisconsin 69.

• A parking complaint was made at 11:35 a.m. in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue.

• Zenon Lewandowski, 65, Madison, was cited at 4:18 p.m. for a seatbelt violation and driving without vehicle insurance on Wis. 69.

• Andrew E. Faber, 33, New Glarus, was cited at 6:35 p.m. for illegal window tinting in the 700 block of 2nd Street.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 11:38 p.m. in the 1400 block of Wis. 69. It was found that the driver was merely taking a nap.

On March 22, Mark F. Quinn, 50, Arena, was cited at 3:03 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

On Wednesday:

• Troy J. Nevil, 30, New Glarus, was cited at 11:30 a.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

• Chase J. Hofer, 19, Nekoosa, was cited at 10:30 p.m. for possession of marijuana on 4th Avenue.

On Thursday:

• An illegally parked vehicle was reported at 4:13 p.m. in the 1100 block of 2nd Street.

• A broken window was reported at 8:06 p.m. in the 1300 block of Wis. 69. An investigation found that the window was likely broken by a defect in the glass and a heater coil.

• A person banging on a door was reported at 8:50 p.m. in the 400 block of 4th Avenue. The offender could not be found.

On Friday:

• Andrew J. Ostby, 44, New Glarus, was cited at 2 p.m. for driving with a suspended license on Wis. 69.

• Dixie N. Knight, 56, Blanchardville, was cited at 2:26 p.m. for driving without vehicle insurance on 6th Avenue.

• An alarm was reported at 6:22 p.m. on Zenter Road.

• A disabled vehicle was reported at 11:06 p.m. at the intersection of Wis. 69 and Sandrock Road.

On Saturday:

• An intoxicated driver was reported at 12:36 a.m. in the N7300 block of Wis. 69.

• A dog that had escaped its owner was delivered to the police at 9:45 a.m. before being returned to its owner.

• Daniel R. Rudolph, 26, Monroe, was cited at 6:41 p.m. for driving without vehicle insurance at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Railroad Street.

• Michael S. Buttchen, 23, Barneveld, was cited at 7:38 p.m. for driving without vehicle insurance in the 1300 block of 6th Avenue.

• Police checked the welfare of two children at 7:48 p.m. in the 400 block of 14th Avenue. The children were found to be fine.

• Kristen E. Lowery, 16, Brooklyn, was cited at 8:42 p.m. for a GDL violation in the 300 block of Cow Path Lane.

• A domestic disturbance was reported at 9:08 p.m. in the 100 block of 1st Avenue. The parties involved were separated and charges of disorderly conduct against one of the offenders are pending.

On Sunday:

• Suspicious circumstances were reported at 1:43 a.m. in the 200 block of Industrial Drive. The matter was found to have been caused by a piece of malfunctioning equipment.

• People living in an attic were reported at 6:18 p.m. in the 300 block of Heidi Court. Upon investigation, no people in the attic could be found.

• An alarm call was made at 7:33 p.m. in the 300 block of Heidi Court. Upon arrival, police found the caller had entered the wrong code.

• Police removed a traffic hazard at 8:41 p.m. from the W6100 block of Wis. 39.

SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday, Jacob J. Noriega, 24, Monticello, was arrested at 9:03 p.m. for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the N5400 block of Wis. 69, Town of Washington.

On Saturday:

• Jeremy Hunter, 27, Monroe was arrested at 12:36 a.m. for driving while intoxicated (second offense) and was cited for speeding in the N7300 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus. A passenger, Zackery T. Wedig, 26, Monroe, was cited for having open intoxicants in a vehicle. Both were released pending court.

• Jason R. Wahl, 28, Monticello, was arrested at 1:46 a.m. for driving while intoxicated (first offense) and driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration in the N3700 block of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe. He was also cited for driving with defective taillights and without proof of vehicle insurance. He was released pending court.

• Carmelo Caltenco-Marcial, 40, Beloit, was cited at 2:58 a.m. for driving without a valid license on Wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove.

• Nathaniel L. Lovelace, 18, Blue Mounds, was arrested at 3:05 a.m. for driving while intoxicated (first offense), underage possession of intoxicants, possession of THC and drug paraphernalia and speeding in the N8900 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus. A passenger, a 15-year-old Mount Horeb boy, was also cited for underage possession and consumption of alcohol. Both were released pending court.

• Kevin B. LeBaron, 24, Middleton, was arrested at 10:07 p.m. for driving while intoxicated (first offense) and was cited for speeding and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. LeBaron was released pending court.

On Sunday, Yuridia Garcia Arreola, 42, Monticello, was cited at 2 a.m. for driving without a valid license in the W3700 block of Wis. 11, Town of Sylvester.

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 4:40 a.m. on Grove Street in South Wayne.

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 10:25 a.m. on Spore Road, Town of Argyle.

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 12:45 p.m. on North Main Street in Blanchardville.

• A civil dispute was reported at 3:15 p.m. on Laird Lane, Town of Benton.

• Several speeding vehicles were reported at 6:10 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

• Jodi R. Fitzsimons, 40, Darlington, was cited at 7:21 p.m. for speeding on County XX, Town of Belmont.

• Mickie R. Colomer, 32, Cuba City, was cited at 8:45 p.m. for driving with a suspended license, without insurance, without a vehicle registration and with altered vehicle plates on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove.

• Ritchie S. Wedeking, 48, Chicago, was cited at 9:11 p.m. for speeding on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle.

On Saturday:

• A deputy assisted the Darlington Police at 1:29 a.m. with a traffic complaint on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

• Deputies checked an individual's welfare at 1:36 a.m. on Spring Street in Darlington.

• Andrea M. Templeton, 19, Amana, Iowa, was cited at 4:15 a.m. for speeding on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

• Joshua T. Leopold, 36, Browntown, was cited at 1:57 p.m. for driving without vehicle insurance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on Wis. 11 in South Wayne. Leopold was released pending court.

• Criminal damage to property was reported at 2:17 p.m. on Commerce Street in Belmont.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 8:36 p.m. on Sargant Road, Town of Wayne.

• A deputy assisted the Grant County Sheriff at 8:45 p.m. in Hazel Green.

On Sunday:

• Avery M. T. Willburn, 22, Belmont, was cited at 2:14 a.m. for driving without vehicle insurance on Mound View Road, Town of Belmont.

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 6:10 a.m. on County F, Town of Fayette.

• A threat of injury was reported at 7:12 a.m. on North Mound Avenue in Belmont.

• Criminal damage to property was reported at 9:29 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

• A deputy checked an individual's welfare at 4:22 p.m. on Bean Street in Benton.

• A dog at large was reported at 6:29 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

• Donald J. Sutherland, 59, Cary Ill., was cited at 6:55 p.m. for speeding on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove.

• Cody A. Kirschbaum, 27, South Wayne was arrested at 7:17 p.m. for disorderly conduct after a domestic dispute was reported on West Center Street in South Wayne. Kirschbaum was jailed.

• A restraining order violation was reported at 10:07 p.m. on Picanax Street in Shullsburg.
