MONROE - Brendon G. Hicks, 21, Evanston, Ill., was cited in the 1600 block of 13th Avenue at 1:40 a.m. Thursday, March 22, for driving while intoxicated (first offense), failure to stop at a stop sign, having no vehicle insurance and driving with no license. He was released to a responsible party.

• Police responded to a complaint at 10:09 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, of a yellow Labrador running loose in the 2500 block of 10th Street, near the fairground, but could not catch it.

• A 16-year-old was cited for possession of cigarettes at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, at the intersection of 25th Street and 16th Avenue.

• Police responded at 3:17 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, to a neighbor's complaint that a woman in the 2100 block of 14th Avenue was using harsh language when she let her dogs out. The woman was warned.

• A TomTom GPS was reported stolen out of a parked vehicle in the 500 block of West 21st Street at 7:08 p.m. Wednesday, March 21.
