MONROE - On Tuesday, March 12:

• Jacob E. Johnson, 32, Brodhead, was arrested on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and driving with a suspended license (fourth offense) after police responded to a complaint at 2:27 p.m. from Walmart, 300 6th Ave. W., of people arguing in a car near the business. Officers located and arrested Johnson in the 200 block of Wisconsin 69. He was wearing a sheathed knife under his shirt on a lanyard around his neck.

• A vehicle mirror was reported damaged at 12:08 p.m. in the 100 block of 21st Street.

• The theft of a wallet was reported at 10:03 p.m. at a residence in the 1300 block of 21st Street.



Lafayette County Sheriff

LAFAYETTE - On Tuesday, March 12:

• Susan A. Redfearn, 42, Platteville, was transported at 2:30 p.m. from the Walworth County Jail to Lafayette County Jail, where she remains jailed on a probation hold.

• Richard J. Randecker, 48, Benton, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 5:46 a.m. on County I in New Diggings Township.

• Jeremy J. Rutherford, 34, Cuba City, was cited for driving with an expired vehicle registration and no vehicle insurance at 7:48 a.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg Township.

• Richard M. Rojek, 53, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was cited for an equipment violation at 12:38 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg.

• Neelima Sukhwal, 43, Platteville, was cited for speeding and driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 12:51 p.m. on U.S. 151 in Belmont Township.

• Kelly M. Straka, 35, Brookfield, was cited for speeding at 2:44 p.m. on U.S. 151 in Belmont Township.

• Kendra A. Robbins, 19, Benton, was cited for failure to obey a stop sign at 6:12 p.m. on Saint Rose Road in Benton Township.

• Robert J. Donar, 20, Cuba City, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 11:35 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg Township.

• At 10:54 a.m., a deputy checked on the welfare of a juvenile who was truant from Darlington Middle School. After making contact at the juvenile's residence on Otter Creek Road in Darlington Township, the deputy determined the child was at a relative's home in Monroe due to illness. Monroe police assisted with the case.

• At 3:55 p.m., a deputy investigated a retail fraud case on West Grove Street in South Wayne. An installation service worker for a satellite company was paid by the customer in cash, and the satellite company was reporting they had not received payment for the installation. The incident remains under investigation.
