Monroe Police MONROE - Nathan Robert Mitchell Sweet, 20, Monroe, was arrested at 6:08 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, on charges of possessing fentanyl (a potent narcotic analgesic) and possessing stolen property. He was then jailed on a probation hold issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Police made the arrest in the 1200 block of 19th Street, after receiving a tip that Sweet would be meeting with someone at the location to sell a stolen Wii gaming console.• Property owners were issued notices Wednesday, July 25, to mow grass and clean up weeds at a residence in the 700 block of 17th Avenue and at the closed Wendy's location in the 400 block of West 8th Street.Green County SheriffMONROE - Walter G. Melton, Jr., 40, Monroe, was cited for driving with a revoked license at 8:29 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, in the N3600 block of Wisconsin 69 in the Town of Monroe.
