BRODHEAD - Travis L. Hawkins, 32, Brodhead, was cited Sunday, July 15, on two counts of issuing worthless checks.
- Melinda A. Alexander, 40, Albany, was cited Monday, July 16, on five counts of issuing worthless checks.
- Kevin L. Bobolz, 33, Brodhead, was cited for driving with a suspended license, speeding and a violation of child safety-restraint laws at 6:32 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, in the 200 block of 1st Center Avenue.
- Tammy L. Powell, 48, Brodhead, was cited for disorderly conduct at 8 p.m. Friday, July 20, in the N100 block of 1st Center Avenue.
- Mark T. Newkirk, 21, Milwaukee, was cited for driving with a suspended license (second offense) and speeding at 8:09 p.m. Friday, July 20, in the 600 block of 1st Street.
- Elizabeth C. Schilling, 23, Brodhead, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 9:50 p.m. Friday, July 20, in the 100 block of 1st Center Avenue.
- Luis Ruiz-Bravo, 39, Brodhead, was cited for driving without a valid license at 2:31 a.m. Saturday, July 21, in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.
Monroe Police
MONROE - Christopher S. Nelson, 22, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated at 12:50 a.m. Saturday, July 21, in the 2900 block of Wisconsin 69. He was released pending court.
- Gregory R. Stevens, 46, Monroe, was arrested in the 2200 block of 5th Avenue on charges of battery, disorderly conduct, intimidation of a victim and a probation hold at 4:13 p.m. Saturday, July 21, as the result of a disturbance. He was jailed pending court.
Green County Sheriff
MONROE - Josh R. Penniston, 29, Belmont, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated with a passenger younger than 16 at 10:35 p.m. Thursday, July 19, after deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction on Wisconsin 81 east of Trotter Road in the Town of Adams. He was also cited for operating left of center and jailed. A passenger, Chelsea R. Galloway, 20, Belmont, was arrested and jailed on a warrant issued by the Vilas County Sheriff's Department for failure to pay a fine. She was also cited for underage drinking.
- Daniel A. Kubly, 31, Monticello, was arrested and jailed on a probation hold at 1:49 p.m. Friday, July 20, at the Green County Justice Center.
- Ulysses J. Miilu, 25, Middleton, was arrested on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon at 3:52 p.m. Friday, July 20, after deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on Wisconsin 92 near Blazer Road in the Town of Exeter. He was also cited for causing property damage while knowingly driving with a suspended license, failure to maintain control, driving without vehicle insurance and possession of THC (marijuana). Miilu was southbound on Wis. 92 when he lost control while attempting to stop for a vehicle turning eastbound onto Blazer Road. He veered into the ditch, collided with an embankment and came to rest against a traffic sign. No injuries were reported in the crash. Miilu was jailed pending bond or court.
- Thomas E. York, 38, Belleville, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated (first offense), operating left of center and possessing drug paraphernalia at 3:08 a.m. Saturday, July 21, after deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on County W at County CC in the Town of Exeter. York was released pending court.
- Abigail K. Jones, 17, Clinton, was arrested on a charge of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct at 7:24 p.m. Saturday, July 21, after deputies responded to a disturbance in a vehicle on Wisconsin 104 near Borchardt Road in the Town of Decatur. She was jailed pending court.
- Jessica J. Bull, 19, Janesville, and Emily S. Briggs, 16, Milton, were cited for underage drinking after deputies and a warden with the Department of Natural Resources made contact with a group of tubers in the N5000 block of the Sugar River Parkway in the Town of Albany at 5:31 p.m. Saturday, July 21.
- Andrea S. Smith, 35, Brodhead, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign and failure to fasten seatbelt after deputies, the Juda Fire Department and Monroe EMS responded to a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Jefferson at 7:12 p.m. Saturday, July 21. Smith was stopped on County KS at County K and pulled out to go southbound on County K when she collided with a northbound vehicle driven by Annette L. Schwartz, 29, Browntown. The collision pushed the vehicles into the ditch and caused severe damage. Both vehicles were towed. Smith was injured and transported to an area ER by private vehicle.

DARLINGTON - Jerry K. Dykes, Jr. 25, Platteville, was arrested following a traffic stop on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont at 1:57 p.m. Thursday, July 19, on valid warrants issued by the Grant County Sheriff's Department and Platteville Police Department. He was also charged with driving without a valid license or vehicle insurance. He was jailed.
- Brian V. Olson, 27, Platteville, was cited for driving with a revoked license and failure to stop at a stop sign at 1:56 a.m. Thursday, July 19, on West Mound Road in the Town of Belmont. A passenger in the vehicle, Michael R. Jones, 30, Cobb, was taken into custody by a Grant County deputy on a valid Grant County warrant.
- Tyler S. Hellenbrand, 25, Waunakee, was cited for speeding and carrying no proof of vehicle insurance at 12:03 p.m. Thursday, July 19, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.
- David M. Haight, 54, Fitchburg, was cited for carrying no proof of vehicle insurance and driving with a suspended and expired vehicle registration at 12:52 p.m. Thursday, July 19, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.
- Maximo Murillo-Lopez, 46, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance at 1:28 p.m. Thursday, July 19, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.
- Natalie T. Elizaroof, 18, Glenview, Ill., was cited for speeding at 2:19 p.m. Thursday, July 19, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.
