MONROE - Angela M. Roush, 39, Monroe, was arrested in the 600 block of 16th Avenue at 5:43 p.m. Thursday, July 19, on two outstanding warrants issued by the Monroe Police Department for failure to pay a fine. She was unable to post the required cash bond and jailed.
Kyle S. Peotter, 17, and a 13-year-old boy, both of Monroe, were cited for trespassing at 3:03 p.m. Thursday, July 19. The two were reportedly found at Monroe Estates, 560 W. 21st St., in violation of a notice against them not to be there. Police have warned them multiple times in recent months not to be on the property.
A baby opossum was reported in a bathroom at a residence in the 1300 block of 14th Street at 1:57 a.m. Thursday, July 19. With help from a Green County deputy, police captured the opossum in a live trap and freed it at Pleasant View Park north of Monroe.
Two liquid propane tanks worth $50 each were reported stolen off a camper parked in a back alley behind the 1100 block of 29th Avenue at 8:48 p.m. Thursday, July 19.
A group of teens playing with Nerf guns was booted from the Swiss A.L.P.S. playground in Recreation Park, 1700 22nd Ave., at 10:12 p.m. Thursday, July 19, after police found them there after hours.
Police responded at 11:53 p.m. Thursday, July 19, to a complaint of a damaged electrical power box in the 1600 block of 6th 1/2 Avenue, possibly caused by a vehicle accident. The damage was reported to Alliant Energy.

MONROE - Paige M. Mihael, 17, New Glarus, was arrested on charges of violating the absolute sobriety law by driving while impaired by alcohol, driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration and resisting/obstructing an officer at 2:34 a.m. Thursday, July 19, when deputies located a vehicle that was parked partially on Legler Valley Road at Marty Road in the Town of New Glarus. A passenger, Nicholas Russell Stuessy, 20, New Glarus, was cited for underage drinking and possession of open intoxicants in a vehicle. Both were released pending court.
Morgan D. Harms, 30, Monroe, was arrested at 11:47 a.m. Thursday, July 19, on warrants issued by Green County for delivery of THC (marijuana) in Monroe. According to a criminal complaint filed the same day, she sold 5.2 grams of marijuana for $40 in the 900 block of 23rd Avenue on April 12 and 5.1 grams of marijuana for $60 in the parking lot of Burger King, 548 8th Ave., on May 2. The drug deals were reported by an agent with the Stateline Area Narcotics Team (SLANT) following an undercover operation. Harms was jailed. Her signature bond Friday, July 20, was set for $3,000.
Charles D. Hill, 24, Monticello, was cited for driving with a revoked license in the N2700 block of County S at 1:24 p.m. Thursday, July 19.
