NEW GLARUS Police

NEW GLARUS - On July 6:

• Travis R. Doyle, 21, Belleville, was cited for issuing worthless checks at 3:25 p.m. after police responded to a fraud complaint from a convenience store.

• A gas drive-off was reported at 4:16 p.m. in the 600 block of Wisconsin 69.

• Bobbie J. Foster, New Glarus, was cited for operating while suspended and not having insurance at 8:35 p.m. July 7 after police stopped him on Wis. 69.

On Wednesday:

• Brittany A. Emberson, 23, Monroe, was cited for not having insurance at 6:25 p.m. after police stopped her in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 10:12 p.m. in the 500 block of Railroad Street.

On Thursday:

• Lisa M. Pfaff, 26, Monroe, was cited for operating after revocation at 12:01 p.m. after police stopped her in the 1100 block of Wis. 69 for an equipment violation.

• Gary L. Hanson, 51, Monroe, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 6:46 p.m. after police stopped him in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

On Friday:

• Cassie J. Evonovich, 35, Monroe, was cited at 5:36 p.m. for a seatbelt violation after police stopped her in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

• Susan J. Luchsinger, 42, New Glarus, was cited at 6:11 p.m. for a seatbelt violation after police stopped her in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

• Maria D. Hillyer, 32, Kaukauna, was cited at 9:35 p.m. for speeding after police stopped her in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 12:38 a.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Street.

• Damage to a driveway was reported at 8:10 a.m. in the 500 block of 9th Avenue.

• Police responded at 5:15 p.m. to a report of a domestic-abuse incident in Belleville.

On Saturday:

• Paul M. Byers, 39, Sun Prairie, was cited for illegal tint at 7:46 p.m. after police stopped him in the 1400 block of Wis. 69.

• Jason M. Palmer, 38, New Glarus, was cited for not having insurance at 8:56 p.m. after police stopped him for an equipment violation in the 500 block of 6th Avenue.

• Clayton A. Johnson, 30, Monticello, was cited for not having insurance at 12:03 a.m. Sunday after police stopped him for an equipment violation near the intersection of Wis. 69 and County NN.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Friday:

• Patrick R. Berthiaume, 23, Madison, was arrested and jailed for operating while intoxicated and possessing marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and drug paraphernalia at 5:50 p.m. after police stopped him for a traffic infraction on Argue Road at Hawk Ridge Road in the Town of New Glarus. He was also cited for a registration violation.

• Kevin P. Donahue, 57, Albany, was arrested and jailed for battery and disorderly conduct at 8:58 p.m. at a residence on Deerwood Drive in the Town of Albany after police responded to a traffic complaint in the Village of Albany.

On Saturday:

• Tyler M. McRae, 23, Footville, was arrested and jailed for disorderly conduct at 5:30 p.m. after police responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the W2600 block of Wis. 11 in the Town of Jefferson.

• Courtney L. Schaefer, 27, Madison, was arrested for first-offense operating while intoxicated at 7:10 p.m. after police stopped her for a traffic infraction on Wis. 59 at Edmunds Road in the Town of Albany. She was also cited for possessing marijuana, having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, inattentive driving and not having proof of insurance. She was released to a responsible party.

• Michael J. Henry, 29, Janesville, was arrested and jailed for bail jumping at 9:39 p.m. after police responded to Sweet Minihaha Campgrounds in the Town of Decatur to check on the welfare of an intoxicated person.

On Sunday:

• Jess R. Hager, 20, Monroe, was arrested for first-offense operating while intoxicated at 1:03 a.m. after police stopped her for driving erratically on Wis. 59 at Forest Prairie Park Road in the Town of Sylvester. She was also cited for possessing marijuana and not having proof of insurance. A 16-year-old Monroe juvenile was cited for possession of tobacco. Both were released pending court.

• John W. Keeran, 35, Juda, was cited for operating while revoked at

8:02 a.m. after police stopped him on Giese Road in the Town of Spring Grove. He was released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Timothy J. Nolan, 35, Cuba City, was cited for speeding at 4:21 p.m. after police stopped him on County O in the Town of White Oak Springs.

• Jason P. Strohecker, 33, Freeport, was cited for speeding at 7:06 p.m. after police stopped him on Wis. 23 in the Town of Darlington.

• Police responded at 1:15 a.m. to a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road on U.S. Hwy. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

• Police responded at 7:07 a.m. to a 911 hang up on Oak Street in Argyle.

• Trespassing was reported at 10 a.m. on County F in the Town of Blanchard.

• Police provided traffic control at 11:11 a.m. on Wis. 126 in Belmont.

• Police provided traffic control at 2:45 p.m. on County Y in the Town of Wiota.

• A vehicle in a ditch was reported at 4:25 p.m. on Truman Road in the Town of Elk Grove.

• A fireworks complaint was reported at 9:06 p.m. on North Judgement Street in Shullsburg.

On Saturday:

• Angela I. Morgan, 30, Benton, was arrested

and jailed for domestic-abuse-related disorderly conduct at 12:46 a.m. after police responded to a report of a disturbance on East Main Street in Benton. She was released after posting bond.

• Jerry R. Davis, 42, South Wayne, was arrested and jailed on a probation hold and for domestic-abuse-related disorderly conduct at 9:54 a.m. after police responded to a report of a disturbance on West Center Street in South Wayne.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 1:27 a.m. on West Center Street in South Wayne.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 3:17 a.m. on Oates Street in Shullsburg.

• Criminal damage to property was reported at 8:10 a.m. on County I in the Town of New Diggings.

• A gas drive-off was reported at 2:35 p.m. on West Moundview Avenue in Belmont. The driver returned to pay for the fuel.

• A suspicious person was reported at 8:10 p.m. on South Holland Road in the Town of Gratiot.

• A vehicle driving erratically was reported at 9:02 p.m. on County F in the Town of Fayette.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 10:08 p.m. on Wis. 81 in the Town of Argyle.

• A domestic disturbance was reported at 10:30 p.m. on Lake Joy Lane in the Town of Belmont.

On Sunday:

• Randey J. Wehe, 24, Browntown, was cited for operating after suspension and not having insurance at 7:46 p.m. after police stopped him on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

• Randall L. Tollakson, 44, South Wayne, was cited for allowing open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and not having insurance at 10:06 p.m. after police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on South Road in the Town of Wiota and stopped him on Sheldon Street in Gratiot. Peggy S. Reed, 43, Gratiot, was cited for open intoxicants as a passenger.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 9:37 a.m. on Apple Grove Church Road in the Town of Argyle.

• Police responded at 12:30 p.m. to a complaint on East Street in Darlington.

• A damaged mailbox was reported at 1:01 p.m. on Sargent Road in the Town of Wayne.

• Telephone harassment was reported at 8:35 p.m. on West High Street in Shullsburg.

• An injured animal was reported at 8:35 p.m. on Mayer Road in the Town of Wayne.
