Monroe Police MONROE - Police forwarded a case of reported domestic abuse to the Green County District Attorney after responding twice in less than 12 hours to a residence in the 1000 block of 17th Street. At 11:29 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, officers warned a man for burning an illegal campfire in the yard. At 8:35 a.m. the next morning, officers returned to take a report that the man was burning his girlfriend's property and had slashed the tires on a vehicle.
