A case of credit card fraud was reported at 2:02 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue. The incident remains under investigation.

On Jan. 4:
A 21-year-old Janesville man was cited at 2:56 a.m. for speeding in the 600 block of 1st Street.
Police issued a warning at 8:30 a.m. for a snow removal violation in the 1600 block of West 2nd Avenue.
A trailer preventing snow removal was moved at 2:16 p.m. in the 1100 block of West 2nd Avenue.

Two dogs at large were reported at 5:45 p.m. in the 1500 block of 17th Street. The dogs were returned to their owner, who was issued a verbal warning.

NEW GLARUS - On Jan. 4, Trent M. Siegenthaler, 16, Monticello, was cited at 7:06 p.m. for driving without vehicle insurance after being stopped for an equipment violation on Wisconsin 69 at 6th Avenue.
