Lafayette County Sheriff

MONROE - On Tuesday:

• A deputy responded at 2:52 p.m. to Wisconsin 11 in Benton Township for a welfare check.

• A deputy responded at 3:42 p.m. to U.S. 151 in Kendall Township for a motorist assist.

• Donald T.D. Pitman, 18, Browntown, was cited for operating after suspension and no proof of insurance at 4:26 p.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

• An injured animal on the road was reported at 4:34 p.m. on County M in Wiota Township.

• An injured animal on the road was reported at 8:10 p.m. on County G in Willow Springs Township.

• A noise complaint was reported at 8:20 p.m. on East Center Street in South Wayne.

• A deputy assisted Hazel Green Police with a welfare check at 8:45 p.m. on Main Street in Hazel Green.

• Threats to injure were reported at 9:36 p.m. on Temple Avenue in Benton. Belmont Police assisted.

• A deputy responded at 10:39 p.m. on Wis. 81 for a citizen assist.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Tuesday: • Gordon P. Sullivan, 28, Juda, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections at 4:40 p.m. at a residence in the W2900 block of Washington Street in the Town of Jefferson. Sullivan was jailed.

• Larry A. Strothman, 30, Juda, was arrested for operating while under the influence of alcohol (3rd offense) at 6:26 p.m. in the 200 block of 8th Avenue in Monroe. Strothman was also cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, non-registration of auto and display unauthorized vehicle registration. Strothman was jailed pending bond or court. A passenger in the vehicle, Stephanie R. Scott, 29, Monroe, was arrested for misdemeanor bail jumping. Scott was jailed pending bond or court. Monroe Police assisted.
