Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Daniel Rolli, 18, Darlington, was cited for non-registration of an auto and display of unauthorized vehicle registration plates at about 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, following a traffic stop on East Harriet Street.



Monroe Police

MONROE - On Thursday, Jan. 31:

- Sarah J. Anderson, 33, Brodhead, was arrested on a charge of felony bail jumping after police responded at 5:29 p.m. to a 911 call in the 2100 block of 8th Street. A resident reported an intoxicated woman he didn't know entered his home and then left. Officers searched the area and located Anderson. She had apparently gotten confused and gone into the wrong house. They determined she had been drinking alcohol, which violates a condition of the $3,000 and $1,500 signature bonds she signed Jan. 8 on charges in Green County of disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property, eluding an officer and third-offense intoxicated driving. She was jailed.

- The owner of Pure Energy, 1010 17th Ave., reported at 2:43 p.m. that the business' cellphone had been stolen and people in the contact list on the phone were receiving pictures of body parts taken with the camera.

- A person came into the police station at 5:06 p.m. to report set of keys and a key fob as lost. If found, call dispatch at 608-329-2400.

- The theft of a bottle of liquor was reported stolen at 5:57 p.m. from Piggly Wiggly, 725 8th St.

- A father called at 9:14 p.m. to report a family dispute that occurred in a car between Monroe and Albany. Two sisters, ages 12 and 15, were arguing with him. Slaps were exchanged. The girls called their mother, who threatened to report their father for child abuse. The father preempted her report by reporting the situation himself. The case was referred to the Green County Sheriff's Department since it happened in that jurisdiction.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Desiree M. Ewinger, 45, Freeport, was cited for driving with a suspended license after she drove to the scene of an accident involving a vehicle she owned. The crash was reported at 9:51 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at the intersection of County B and Mellenberger Road in the Town of Cadiz. The driver, Jodi L. Simons, 44, Freeport, was eastbound on County B when she lost control in the icy road conditions. The vehicle traveled across the westbound lane, hit a snow bank on the east side of Mellenberger Road, spun around and rolled on its driver side. Simons and her passenger were uninjured. The vehicle sustained minor damage and will be removed from the scene later.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Jan. 31:

- A dog running at large on Wildcat Road in the Town of Darlington was reported at 12:45 p.m.

- A civil dispute was reported on Whaley Court in Benton at 6:10 p.m.

- An unwanted male at a residence was reported on South Wyota Street in South Wayne at 10:28 p.m.
