BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - For the week of Feb. 7 to Feb. 13, there were 22 registrations, 20 citizen assists, 12 security checks, nine 911 calls, six traffic stops, six EMS calls, five assists of other agencies and one fire call.

On Feb. 7:

• A 23-year-old Romeoville, Ill., woman was cited at 2:40 a.m. for speeding in the 1400 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• Damage to property was reported at 1:16 p.m. at the pavilion in the N3800 block of Park Road.

On Feb. 8:

• A 38-year-old Brodhead man was arrested at 1:51 a.m. for burglary and criminal damage to property after he was reported attempting to break into a residence in the 700 block of 10th Street.

• A 55-year-old Pardeeville man was cited at 10:11 a.m. for a heavy truck route violation after a phone line was damaged.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 1:17 p.m. after an individual caused a disturbance in the 2000 block of 1st Center Avenue. The offender was issued a warning.

• A gas drive-off was reported at 3:37 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue. The incident was found to have been unintentional.

On Feb. 9, a 29-year-old Brodhead man was cited at 5:16 a.m. for speeding in the 700 block of 23rd Street.

On Wednesday, police issued a warning at 11:38 a.m. for a heavy truck route violation in the 2500 block of East 3rd Avenue.

On Thursday, a juvenile was reported causing a disturbance at 9:28 a.m. in the 1400 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Friday:

• A gas drive-off was reported at 3:17 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. The incident was found to have been unintentional.

• A gas drive-off was reported at 7:02 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. The incident was found to have been unintentional.

On Saturday, disorderly conduct was reported at 12:16 a.m. after an individual created a disturbance in the 1000 block of 21st Street.



MONROE POLICE

MONROE - Loren C. Bowen, 28, Monroe, was arrested at 9:48 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of 17th Street on an outstanding warrant from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Bowen was jailed.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - On Feb. 6:

• Police cited a vehicle at 7:42 p.m. for parking in a prohibited area in the 100 block of 6th Avenue.

• Amanda L. Zantow, 20, Middleton, was cited at 8:03 p.m. for driving without vehicle insurance in the 600 block of Wisconsin 69.

On Feb. 7:

• Police issued a citation at 2:17 a.m. to a truck parked illegally in the 200 block of Hoesly Drive.

• Police issued a citation at 2:45 a.m. to a vehicle parked after hours in the 10 block of 6th Avenue.

• Lisa A. Zacharski, 46, Sterling, Ill., was cited at 6:28 p.m. for speeding in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 6:49 p.m. with a disorderly conduct call in the W5000 block of Edelweiss Road.

• Police assisted a truck driver at 9:26 p.m. near the intersection of Wis. 69 and Cow Path Lane.

• Police directed a truck driver at 11:25 a.m. to a business.

On Feb. 8:

• Jeremy P. Posey, 34, Blanchardville, was cited at 2:40 a.m. for driving with a suspended license on 6th Avenue.

• Kayla D. Erickson, Argyle, was cited at 11:10 a.m. for driving without vehicle insurance on 2nd Street.

• Police assisted a citizen at 6:41 p.m. with questions about a warning from a Dane County police department.

On Feb. 9:

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 8:27 a.m. with an out-of-control juvenile in the Town of Exeter.

• Shantae L. Grinnell, 21, Monroe, was cited at 2:26 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

• A theft was reported at 4:02 p.m. in the 100 block of 6th Avenue. The incident remains under investigation.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 11:15 p.m. in the 10 block of 1st Street.

On Wednesday:

• Suspicious Internet activity was reported at 12:50 p.m. The case remains under investigation.

• Police assisted the New Glarus High School at 3 p.m. with an incident on school grounds. The school is handling the matter.

• Police helped unlock a vehicle in the 600 block of Wis. 69.

On Thursday, a suspicious vehicle was reported at 1:33 a.m. in the 10 block of 1st Street.

On Friday:

• Police documented threats and harassment an individual reported receiving at 9:21 a.m.

• A trash can in the roadway was reported at 9:57 a.m. in the 700 block of 1st Street.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 11:12 p.m. with a 911 hang-up call that was traced to the intersection of County O and Old Madison Road. Nothing suspicious was found.

On Saturday:

• Police helped unlock a vehicle at 10:58 a.m. in the 500 block of 1st Street.

• Police helped unlock a vehicle at 4:24 p.m. in the 300 block of 2nd Street.

• Mennen D. Borucki, 45, New Glarus, was cited at 5:32 p.m. for driving with a suspended license on Wis. 69.

• A citizen reported people living in her attic at 7:03 p.m. in a residence in the 300 block of Heidi Court. An investigation revealed nobody in the attic, however.

• Brandon M. Behrens, 24, Verona, was cited at 9:31 p.m. for driving without vehicle insurance on Wis. 69.

• Cody A. Sanders, 20, Sauk City, was cited at 9:44 p.m. for driving without vehicle insurance on Wis. 69.

• Kevin W. Bruehlman, 32, Blanchardville, was arrested at 11:38 p.m. after a dangerously intoxicated man was reported in the 400 block of 2nd Street. As New Glarus EMS transported Bruehlman to a detox facility, Bruehlman became violent and uncooperative. He was subsequently charged with disorderly conduct and discharging bodily fluids upon public safety workers.
