• A 22-year-old Brodhead man was cited at 12:50 p.m. for speeding in the N500 block of 1st Center Avenue.
On Friday:
• A fraudulent telephone call was reported at 11:10 a.m. in the 700 block of East 6th Avenue.
• A 19-year-old Brodhead man was cited at 12:06 p.m. for speeding and a seatbelt violation in the N400 block of 1st Center Avenue.
• A 19-year-old Orfordville man was cited at 12:06 p.m. for a seatbelt violation in the N400 block of 1st Center Avenue.
On Saturday:
• A Brodhead business was cited at 8:53 a.m. for non-registration of a vehicle in the 1000 block of West 3rd Avenue.
• A weapon offense was reported at 8:51 p.m. after a person reportedly entered a business carrying a rifle in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police determined the person was in fact carrying a pool cue.
MONROE POLICE
MONROE - On Friday, Dana K. Zimmerman, 28, Monroe, was arrested at 2:51 a.m. for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after a domestic dispute was reported in the 1100 block of 20th Street. Zimmerman was jailed.
On Sunday, Lisa M. Valentin, 42, Monroe, was arrested at 11:48 a.m. for retail theft in the 600 block of 8th Avenue.
NEW GLARUS POLICE
NEW GLARUS - On Feb. 6:
• A stray cat was reported at 2:46 p.m. in the Town of New Glarus.
• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 7:47 p.m. in the 600 block of Wisconsin 69.
• Police responded at 8:40 p.m. to a smoke detector alarm in the 700 block of 14th Avenue. The detector was found to have been triggered by a nearby tenant cooking.
On Feb. 7, a suspicious vehicle was reported at 5:52 p.m. in the 600 block of Wis. 69.
On Wednesday:
• A student was cited at 9:21 a.m. for truancy.
• A citizen reported losing an iPhone 6 in the village at 12:16 p.m. Anyone who finds the phone is requested to bring the item to the Police Department or call (608) 527-2145.
