Monroe Police

MONROE - A 15-year-old Monroe male was arrested for retail theft at about 7:30 a.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of 9th Street. He was released pending court.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Jeffrey M. Hefty, 51, New Glarus, was arrested for strangulation, battery and disorderly conduct following a domestic dispute at about 12:30 a.m. Thursday in New Glarus. He was jailed. During the investigation, deputies arrested Jason R. Quintero, 36, New Glarus, for a Dane County Sheriff's Department warrant. He was turned over to the Dane County Sheriff's Department.

• Ricky S. Coplien, 25, Monroe, was arrested for an Albany Police Department warrant following a traffic stop at about 3:15 p.m. Thursday on County S. He posted bond and was released.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - A 15-year-old female was arrested for disorderly conduct following a disturbance at about 11:15 a.m. Thursday at the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department. Deputies report the female was taken into custody as a runaway from Green County. While at the sheriff's department, she became disorderly. She was eventually turned over to the Green County Sheriff's Department for transport to a juvenile facility.

• Daniel F. Baumgartner, 23, Monroe, was arrested for several Green County warrants at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday at a residence in South Wayne. He was turned over to the Green County Sheriff's Department.
