Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - Alex Smith, 20, Brodhead, was arrested for drug possession and bail jumping around 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Sixth Street. He was jailed.

• Amber L. Johnson, 24, Machesney Park, Ill., was arrested for drunken driving, non-registration of a vehicle and driving left of center following a traffic stop around 2:45 a.m. Feb. 3 in the 2100 block of First Center Avenue. She was released pending court.

• Bradley R. Schwartzlow, 22, Brodhead, was arrested for driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop around 12:30 a.m. Feb. 5 in the 700 block of First Center Avenue. A passenger in the vehicle, Kevin J. Hawkins, 20, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Beloit Police Department. He was transported to the Rock County Jail.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Ricky J. Bennett, 39, Monroe, and Ronald P. Wagman, 18, Verona, were cited for disorderly conduct following a disturbance around 6:45 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of 26th Street. They were released pending court.

• Gregory M. Key, 21, Monroe, was arrested around 6 p.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of 13th Avenue, on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. He was jailed.

• Marcus E. Barnes, 31, Monroe, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver's license, second offense, following a traffic stop around 8 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block of 20th Avenue. He was released pending court.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Thomas D. Skattum, 19, Blanchardville, was cited for open intoxicants in a vehicle and underage transportation of intoxicants following a traffic stop around 9:30 p.m. Friday on Sixth Avenue near Railroad Street.

• Autumn M. Schoenhard, 32, New Glarus, was arrested for a warrant issued by Green County for failure to pay a fine around 10 p.m. Thursday. She was jailed.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - John Hubert Elmer, 56, Blanchardville, was arrested on a Dane County warrant for child support around 1: 30 p.m. Saturday. He was incarcerated in the Green County Jail pending transport to Dane County.

• Todd E. Schmidt, 38, Brooklyn, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, fourth offense, after deputies responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch around 7:30 p.m. Friday in the W1200 block of Wisconsin 92. Schmidt was incarcerated pending court or bond.

• Cathy Jo Black, 35, was arrested around 4 a.m. Saturday in Brooklyn, on a charge of criminal damage to property, after an investigation of a domestic dispute. Black posted bond and was released pending court.

• Ray A. Kofford, 36, Brooklyn, was arrested around 5 p.m. Saturday at a residence on Mortenson Road in Brooklyn township, on a charge of disorderly conduct, after investigation for a domestic dispute. Kofford posted bond and was released pending court.

• No arrests were made after deputies responded around 2:30 p.m. Saturday to a domestic dispute in Browntown.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Christopher C. Spahn, 22, Albany, was transported to the Lafayette Sheriff's Department around 8 p.m. Sunday following his arrest by the Green County Sheriff's Department on a Lafayette County warrant for failure to pay a fine. Spahn posted bond and was released.

• Gustavo Ortega-Villanuev, 20, DeKalb, Ill., was cited around 4 p.m. Saturday for operating a motor vehicle with no valid driver's license on Wis. 23 in Darlington.

• Alan D. Ihus, 44, Blanchardville, was cited for operating left of center and a safety belt violation following a traffic stop around 12:15 p.m. Friday on Wis. 23 in Darlington. A passenger, Pauline R. Ihus, 65, Blanchardville was also cited for a safety belt violation.

• Patrice L. Young, 24, Madison, was cited for speeding around 10:30 p.m. Friday on U.S. Highway 151 in Belmont township.

• Thomas R. Sina, 65, Ripon, was cited for speeding around 1 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 11 in Gratiot township.

• Timothy J. Alderson, 24, Shullsburg, was cited around 3 a.m. Sunday for speeding on Wis. 11 in New Diggings township and for failure to stop at a stop sign in Shullsburg.

• Deputies assisted the Argyle Police Department with investigating a report of domestic disturbance around 2:30 a.m. Saturday in Argyle.

• Kevin R. J. Burbach, 24, Benton, was arrested around 3 a.m. Saturday on County J in Benton for domestic disorderly conduct and transported to Lafayette County Jail. He was booked and released upon posting bond.

• Deputies assisted the Darlington Police Department around 9 p.m. Saturday in the Darlington with a disturbance.

• Deputies responded to a report of animal neglect around 9:45 a.m. Saturday on Cub Hollow Road in Gratiot township.

• Deputies responded to a report of animal neglect around 2 p.m. Saturday at a residence on Fairview Avenue in Argyle.
