Monroe Police

MONROE - Michael A. Laffin, 21, Monroe, was arrested at 4:36 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, in the 2300 block of 5th Avenue on charges of disorderly conduct and strangulation after police responded to a reported domestic dispute.

- Nicklas J. Hendrickson, 16, Monroe, was cited for inattentive driving at 3:31 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, after a three-vehicle accident in the 1700 block of 17th Avenue. Hendrickson reportedly collided with a vehicle driven by Joseph P. Foley, 53, Monroe. As a result, Foley's vehicle was pushed into a third vehicle driven by Jami L. Jaeggi, 32, Monroe. No injuries were reported.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Jorge Luis Mereles-Timoted, 25, Beloit, was cited for failing to maintain control, failing to notify police of a crash and his second offense of driving without a valid license at 7:48 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, after deputies responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on Wisconsin 11/81 west of Short Lane in the Town of Sylvester. Mereles-Timoted's rear tire reportedly blew, causing him to lose control. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene. He was released pending a court date.

- Carlos Mendoza Leyva, 26, Madison, was cited for passing into oncoming traffic, driving with a revoked license and driving without insurance after deputies stopped him at 12:25 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12 on Wis. 69 north of Harper Road in the Town of Washington. He was released pending a court date.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Whitney A. Paredes, 23, Freeport, was cited for passing in a no-passing zone following a traffic stop at 11:06 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, on County W in the Town of Monticello.

- Julie A. Jones, 31, Shullsburg, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 10:19 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, to a report of a domestic dispute at a residence on County O in the Town of Seymour. She was jailed.

- Julie M. Culbert, 36, Shullsburg, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after a deputy responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch on Wis. 11 in the Town of Shullsburg. Culbert reportedly swerved to miss a deer, lost control and struck a fence. She was released to a responsible party.
