Monroe Police

MONROE - On Saturday:

• Jason T. Hurd, 26, Monroe, was arrested at 2:35 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, first offense, in the 800 block of 6th Avenue. Hurd was also cited for driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration, open intoxicants in a vehicle and unreasonable speed. He was released pending court.

• Jaron D. Neuenschwander-Luebke, 22, Monroe, was arrested at 8:24 p.m. for a probation/parole violation in the 1000 block of 4th Avenue West. Neuenschwander-Luebke was also cited for trespassing. He was jailed pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Hannah K. Gothard, 17, Monroe, was cited at 12:44 a.m. Friday for possession of marijuana after deputies investigated a vehicle parked in Pleasant View Park, Town of Monroe, after the park was closed. A 16-year-old female was also in the vehicle and cited for underage alcohol possession, first offense. Gothard and the 16-year-old were released to a parent pending court. K-9 unit Ike assisted with the investigation. Three other juveniles in the vehicle were released to their parents.

• Deputies checked a parked vehicle on the side of the road in the N5800 block of Wisconsin 69, Town of Washington. A passenger, Elvia I. Edler, 29, Beloit, was cited for open intoxicants in a vehicle. Edler was released pending court. All other occupants were released to a responsible party.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• A deputy responded at 12:50 a.m. to an injured animal on County G, Willow Springs Township.

• A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle on Jefferson Road, Benton Township, at 6:46 p.m.

On Saturday:

• Melissa J. Rebout, 28, South Wayne, and David L. Knutti, 34, South Wayne, were both arrested at 2:32 a.m. for domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct, after deputies responded to a welfare-check on North Warren Street, Village of South Wayne. Knutti and Rebout were jailed, then posted bond and were released.

• A deputy responded to a dog bite incident at 11 p.m. on Clay Street, Darlington. The dog bite occurred on Hale Lane, Fayette Township.



Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - Billy J. Koss, 34, Albany, was arrested at 2:53 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, fourth offense, in the 900 block of West Exchange Street. Koss was jailed pending court. Online court records indicate Koss was convicted of DWI in February 2000 and September 2009. No other DWI convictions could be found.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Dustin Walters, 26, New Glarus, was arrested Nov. 24 for disorderly conduct, bail jumping and battery after deputies investigated a domestic incident in the 400 block of 7th Avenue. Walters was jailed pending court.

On Tuesday:

• Police responded to a report of a juvenile who brought a knife to school at 9:38 a.m. At no time were staff or students in any harm. The matter was referred to Green County Human Services.

• Police took a report of a scam where a citizen received a call telling them they had won a million dollars and that they needed to mail a money order of $375 to process the winnings. The caller was advised by police not to send any money to claim the prize.

On Wednesday:

• Police investigated a suspicious person report in the 200 block of 2nd Street. It was found that a juvenile was dropped off in the area to visit a friend and ended up at the wrong house. Everything checked out.

• Police were dispatched at 3:59 p.m. to find a missing juvenile, the child was located and returned to the parents.
