Monroe Police

MONROE - James L. Cowell, 27, Monroe, was arrested at 6:08 p.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of 21st Street for a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Cowell was jailed pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Tuesday:

• Christopher A. Chaddick, 17, Browntown, was arrested at 8:54 a.m. for bail jumping in the City of Monroe. Chaddick was jailed pending court.

• Matthew J. Naber, 28, Juda, was arrested at 1:34 p.m. in the W3300 block of Hartwig Road, Town of Sylvester, on an outstanding warrant for failure to pay child support issued by the Walworth County Sheriff's Office. Naber was jailed until he can be transported to Walworth County.

• Crystal M. Richards, 29, Brodhead, was cited at 1:58 p.m. for driving after suspension and no registration after deputies stopped her vehicle for a registration violation on Wisconsin 11 near County S, Town of Jefferson. Richards was released pending court.

• Maria De Los Angeles Serrano-Villanueva, 32, Madison, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, first offense, with a child under the age of 16 in the vehicle. Deputies responded to a traffic complaint on Wisconsin 104 near King Road, Town of Brooklyn, and then located Serrano-Villanueva. She was also cited for driving without a valid license, driving left of center and open intoxicants in a vehicle. Serrano-Villanueva was released to a responsible party pending court. Albany police and Rock County deputies assisted with the investigation.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:

• A deputy responded to a harassment complaint at 8:45 a.m. on South Galena Street, Village of South Wayne.

• A deputy responded at 10:26 a.m. to a report of livestock on the roadway on Russell Road, Belmont Township.

• A deputy responded to a report of livestock on the roadway on Wisconsin 126, Belmont Township, at 10:48 a.m.

• A deputy responded to a suspicious person complaint at 4:01 p.m. on Buncombe Road, Benton Township.

• James A. Melton, 50, South Wayne, was arrested at 10:12 p.m. on a probation warrant on Wisconsin 78, Wiota Township. Melton was jailed pending court.

• A deputy and University of Wisconsin-Platteville police were dispatched at 10:15 p.m. to a report of suspicious activity on West Commerce Street, Village of Belmont.

• A deputy assisted Decorah police with attempting to locate a subject on County J, Benton Township, at 11:12 p.m.
