He was released pending court.- Brodie G. Flannery, 20, Monroe, was arrested in the 1000 block of 12th Avenue at 3:14 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, on warrants issued by the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department for failure to pay fines. He was later transported by a Lafayette County deputy to the jail in Darlington.- A 64-year-old man is banned indefinitely from Dick's Piggly Wiggly, 725 8th St., after police were dispatched at 5:24 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, and 11:13 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, to reports that he shoplifted from the grocery store.
