Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Mohammed H. Al-Tamimi, 41, Freeport, was arrested on a fourth-offense charge of operating while intoxicated (alcohol-related) after deputies stopped a vehicle for operating left of center in the N1800 block of Wisconsin 69, Town of Clarno, at 1:28 a.m. Sunday. He was also cited for operating left of center and for driving without a valid license. A passenger, Adnan T. Al-Shwaili, 44, Freeport, was cited for having open intoxicants in the vehicle. Al-Tamimi was jailed pending court, and Al-Shwaili was released to a responsible party. In Green County Circuit Court Tuesday, Al-Tamimi had his signature bond set at $1,500 with the conditions that he not drink or go into bars or liquor stores. A not-guilty plea was entered in the case. He has a pre-trial conference scheduled Oct. 20.

On Monday:

• Zachary Paul Rupe, 28, Monroe, was arrested on a domestic abuse-related charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 11:55 a.m. to a domestic disturbance on Bloom Lane, Town of Clarno. Rupe posted a cash bond and was released pending court.

• Bailey James Stephan, 18, Albany, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated (suspected drug-related) and on a charge of marijuana possession following a traffic stop at 10:07 p.m. on County C at County J, Town of Adams. He was released pending court.

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Deputies responded at 12:31 a.m. to do a welfare check on Sand Hill Road, Town of Belmont.

• A deputy delivered a message at 10:05 a.m. on North Van Buren Street in Benton.

• A deputy provided traffic control at 10:30 a.m. on Wisconsin 81, Town of Seymour.

• A deputy responded at 11:24 a.m. to do a welfare check on County XX, Town of Belmont.

• A possible court order violation was reported at 11:24 a.m. on South Park Street in Belmont.

• Deputies responded at 3:29 p.m. to a traffic complaint of cinderblocks falling off a flatbed truck on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

• Daniel W. Odell, 29, Janesville, was transported at 4:05 p.m. from the Rock County Jail to the Lafayette County Jail on a Lafayette County warrant.

• A deputy responded at 6:15 p.m. to do a welfare check on 1st Avenue in Benton.

• Denise A. Fields, 50, Benton, was issued a Village of Benton ordinance violation for public nuisance (yard upkeep and cleanliness) at 8:10 p.m. on Railroad Avenue.

• Harley R. D. French, 21, South Wayne, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 8:16 p.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

• Pamela J. Adams, 65, Benton, was issued a Village of Benton ordinance violation for public nuisance (yard upkeep and cleanliness) at 8:53 p.m. on 3rd Avenue.

• A deputy responded at 9:05 p.m. to a traffic complaint on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove.

• A deputy responded at 9:26 p.m. to a noise complaint on 3rd Street in Benton.

• Livestock in the roadway was reported at 9:26 p.m. on Everson Road, Town of Argyle.

• Livestock in the roadway was reported at 11:39 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour. The Darlington Police Department assisted.

On Saturday:

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 12:48 a.m. on County W, Town of Benton.

• A court order violation was reported at 1:19 a.m. on County I, Town of New Diggings.

• Karla M. Myhre, 59, Albany, was cited for unreasonable and imprudent speeding and not having vehicle insurance at 8:17 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

On Sunday:

• Suspicious activity was reported at 1:08 a.m. on South Lafayette Street in Argyle. The Green County Sheriff's Department assisted.

• Deputies assisted the Green County Sheriff's Department with attempting to locate an individual on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot.

• A juvenile was cited for not wearing a helmet while on an ATV at 12:50 p.m. on South Main Street in Darlington.

• Joseph D. Luy, 39, Durand, Ill., was cited for speeding at 1:45 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

• A deputy assisted with unlocking a vehicle at 4:35 p.m. on West Milwaukee Street in Argyle.

• A deputy responded to a traffic complaint at 6:33 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

• A domestic disturbance was reported at 8:38 p.m. on Center Street in South Wayne. South Wayne First Response and Monroe Ambulance assisted at the scene.

• Debris on the roadway were reported at 10:34 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

• Suspicious people and thefts from vehicles were reported at 11:56 p.m. on East Street in Blanchardville.

On Monday:

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 12:34 a.m. on East Street in Shullsburg.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 7:28 a.m. on County O, Town of Seymour.

• A deputy responded at 8:51 a.m. to 3rd Avenue in Benton for unclaimed property.

• A deputy responded at 9:43 a.m. to Park Street in Belmont for a 911 misdial.

• Deputies responded at 11:53 a.m. to a residential alarm on Johnson Road, Town of Shullsburg.

• Harassment was reported at 1:35 p.m. on Railroad Avenue in Benton.

• Justin Bowles, 30, Shullsburg, was cited for unreasonable and imprudent speeding at 4:37 p.m. on County E, Town of Shullsburg.

• Wesley Schaefer, 23, Rewey, was transported at 6:26 p.m. from the Grant County Jail to the Lafayette County Jail on a warrant.

• A deputy responded at 7:24 p.m. to Wis. 78, Town of Argyle, for an animal injured on the roadway

• A deputy responded at 8:06 p.m. to U.S. 151, Town of Belmont, for an animal injured on the roadway.
