Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Molly J. Wiesner, 20, Madison, was cited for inattentive driving following a single-vehicle crash reported on County D near Willow Lane in the Town of Exeter at 2:12 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, after Wiesner lost control and collided with a utility pole. Wiesner suffered injuries and was transported to an area hospital. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Police investigated a tip of unsanitary conditions and too many dogs at a residence in the 2200 block of Haven Lane at 9:56 a.m. Wednesday, April 25. The conditions at the residence were found to be sanitary, but the number of dogs is still under investigation.

- A catalytic converter worth about $200 was reported stolen off a vehicle parked in the 1800 block of 11th Avenue at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 25.

- A resident in the 2500 block of 6th Street reported at 8:13 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, that a vandal had ripped a yard sign in support of Gov. Scott Walker. Vandalism to the resident's political sign has apparently been a continual problem.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Felipe Mendoza-Sanchez, 20, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license or vehicle insurance at 6:18 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, following a traffic stop on County J in the Town of Benton.
