Penelope (Penny) Rosa, age 76, of Monroe, died on Monday, January 30, 2017. She was born on May 4, 1940 the daughter of Ralph and Lillian (Aebly) Haberman.
Penny graduated from Monroe High School in 1958 and was a beautician for many years at Sassa Frass and Calico.
Penny loved going to garage sales and gardening.
She is survived by three sisters, Lillian Schumacher & Betty (Merlyn) Barker both of Lena, IL, and Barbara (Rod) Horstmeier of Freeport, IL. She is also survived by special cousin, Marilyn Grice of Dundee, IL and special friends, Lance Deboer and Chris Pattita, as well as several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her furry friends Pie and Petiet.
Penny is preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held this spring at Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe.
