PEARL CITY - Pauline K. Miller, 65, of Pearl City, passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at UW Hospital in Madison, WI. Pauline was born on August 26, 1949 in Monroe, WI to Paul and Rita (Baumberger) Kaempfer. She graduated from Lena-Winslow High School in 1967. On July 5, 1975, Pauline married Steve Miller at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Kent, IL. Pauline worked in the insurance industry her entire life. She particularly enjoyed her time as a marketing representative and underwriter for Met Life. Pauline was very active in her church and community. She loved quilting, cooking, and bicycling. She was a friend to people and animals and loved her pets, especially her kitties.

Pauline is survived by her husband Steven of Pearl City; daughter Brittany Miller and husband Matt Rampenthal of Washington, IL; two grandchildren: Miller and Weston Rampenthal; her mother, Rita Kaempfer of Warren, IL; mother-in-law Helen Erwin of Lena, IL; one brother: David "Butch" (Sandy) Kaempfer of Gratiot, WI; and one aunt: Marie Tuska of Garland, TX. Pauline was a very special aunt to many Nieces and Nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Kaempfer; fathers-in-law: James Erwin and Russell Miller; and mother-in-law, Marian Miller.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Freeport, IL.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Leamon Funeral Home in Lena, IL, and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church.

Pastor Mark Luepke will officiate the services.

Cremation Rites will be accorded.

A memorial has been established in her name for the Friends Forever Humane Society and Relay for Life.
