Paul W. Frenzel, age 75, of Monroe, died Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Monroe Manor Nursing Home. He was born March 10, 1933 in Monroe, the son of Paul and Lena (Zimmerman) Frenzel. He served in the Korean War from 1953-1955.

Paul worked for the Huber Brewing Company and General Motors in Janesville. He loved to stop into Baumgartners for a beer and Limburger cheese sandwich with his grandsons, Ty and Reese.

Surviving are his daughters, Shelley (William) Golackson and her children, Ty and Reese Golackson of Monroe, Tammy Frenzel and her children, Brad Schultz of Orangeville, Ill. and Heather Geary of Rockford, Ill.; son, Shane (Donna) Frenzel and his children, Angela Arians of Monroe, Anthony Frenzel of Dubuque, Iowa and Kristen Frenzel, of Monroe; sisters, Lois vonMoos of Wisconsin, Ruth Sitnek of Arizona and Sylvia Moyer of Lena, Ill. He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Doris Hawthorn; and brother, Red Riner.

Per Paul's wishes, no services will be held.
