Paul M. Flater, age 72, of Brodhead, WI, passed from this earth into the presence of His Lord on Thursday, July 16, 2009, after several days at the Monroe Clinic Hospital. He is survived by his wife Juanita, two sisters, Loretta (Keith) Johnson of Osceola, WI, and Sharon (George) Franklin of Evansville, WI, and a brother, Fred (Becky) Flater of Piedmont, SC, and a dear aunt Betty (the late Earl) Flater of White Bear Lake, MN.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2009, at the D.L. NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, BRODHEAD, WI. (608) 897-2484. Interment will be at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, July 25, at Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead, WI.
A Memorial Service will be held at Monona Oaks Community Church, 6200 Monona Drive, Madison, WI, at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25, where Paul was a member.
There will be a luncheon following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Brodhead EMS, Monona Oaks Community Church, or another charity of your choice.
