ONECO - Norman L. Kundert, 70, of Oneco, IL, passed away at his home from cancer on Monday, April 6, 2009. He was born on November 2, 1938 in Orangeville, IL, the son of Leo and Theora (Moyer) Kundert. Norman married Donna L. (Digman) on October 2, 1964 in Freeport, IL. He served his country with the United States Navy.

He owned and operated the Oneco Body Shop for over 20 years, and he was also a manager of the Body Shop for Bocker Auto Group. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and playing cards. He also enjoyed his family, grandchildren and his great-grandson.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; 2 daughters: Kelly (Jeffrey) Briggs of Orangeville and Kathy (Tim) Foulker of Davis, IL; 4 grandchildren: Jessi, Kaley Briggs of Orangeville and Kelsy and Kenzie Foulker of Davis; 1 great-grandson: Deegan Briggs of Orangeville; and 1 sister: Ann (Bill) Samelson of Red Oak, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother-in-law, James Price.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 10, 2009, at the Cramer-Leamon Funeral Home in Orangeville, IL. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2009, at the Cramer-Leamon Funeral Home.

Rev. Don Jamerson will officiate the service.

Burial will be in the Oneco Cemetery, Oneco, IL.

A memorial has been established in his name.
