NEW GLARUS - It was an unlucky weekend for Ross H. Weter of Monroe.
Police cited the 25-year-old twice in a 24-hour period for driving with a suspended license.
The first traffic stop was on Wisconsin 69 at County W at 6:40 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, according to the New Glarus Police Department.
The next day at 5:54, Weter was stopped again in the 500 block of Wis. 69, and again cited for driving with a suspended license.
These are his third and fourth such citations in the past six months in Green County, according to court records.
Driving while suspended is a minor traffic offense that incurs only a fine, but if too many pile up on a person's record, the court may order license revocation and possible jail time. The tipping point is having four or more convictions of suspended driving in a five-year timeframe.
